The App has a lot of bugs; brings errors often times when you log in. Always just says “okay” when you put in pin and doesn’t log in. Also the app is so outdated and its user interface feels old. Why the hell would the iOS version be having a fingerprint prompt? iPhone left fingerprint in 2017 for crying out loud. I give it 1 star!

Please you guys can definitely do better overall with this app and to mention services system upgrade has taken months now ..transactions don’t go through but they sure debit your account.. you follow up and it takes weeks .

HFB can make you work for the very money on your account and even incur some losses. A couple of colleagues I know have switched banks. I have several threads over the months with their WhatsApp liaison, which itself isn’t a good sign for a bank that has to have seamless service - I’ve had 15 incidents to be precise. App crashes for days on! Imagine you’re in the village or out of country and have financial obligations at home or town, you’re screwed. Most times you have to go to the bank physically. No messages for transactions even after I applied for them. It’s been a painful relationship. I woke up late. Not recommended for ‘conventional’ banking. In fact 1 star is too much. I wish there was half a star for the fairly good service at the tellers, which any bank already has anyway 😂

This is the worst banking app ever! For a full week now I can’t access my funds, and the only time I did my money was cut off my account two times I didn’t receive it and even a reversal wasn’t made!

I have spent 3 days trying to login to my account and with the correct pin being entered. The app just tells me “okay!” And it stops there.  I cant see my bank account balance. Or even enter my account. Unless the bank wants me to move 2 districts just to check my account balance at Kololo. I decided to uninstall the app and reinstall but the onboarding process is way worse. After inputting the correct registered phone number and pin, waiting for the recreate code took me 5 mins after i gave up and onto the second attempt with the correct recreate code from the bank. The app then tells me “ Error device mismatch” what the hell does that error even mean? And what should i even do next? No recommendations, no articles for help, All i needed was to login the app, confirm a payment because some times the bank doesn’t even send notifications when a transaction is made. And the customer helpline, it just doesn’t go through. When you use other banks’ mobile apps you get to realize HFB just doesn’t put enough effort in their mobile apps, IOS version in particular.

Update was long overdue. But I’m not certain whether I’m the unlucky one but the confirmations are weird. I’ve been trying to pay yaka. And after entering and confirming everything, the app says ‘okay’ but I get no details. Or confirmation of payment. 
Interface is a great improvement but still lacking, can’t you at the very least use commas to separate thousands? Writing 100958965 is difficult to process. 10,095,895 is much easier. Come on y’all can do better than this.
