Anyone who has had the experience of having to use an assisted living facility already probably knows what meds their loved one is on; what’s helpful is making sure the facility delivers meds at the appointed time. This app is just a way for facilities to try to reassure families at check in but it doesn’t tell you anything helpful. As a health care professional. The one thing that bothers me is that there is no time for the administration of medications. I’m away from my loved one and I would like to know when they are receiving them. Are they getting them on a timely manner?! Because I do know that their glucose isn’t being monitored the way it should be when it’s well over 300.
