HR2VP Bike Training & Tracker Reviews

Broken

App is a joke. Zwift wont recognize the signal fully and will show you “no signal” even being connected to zwift. When trying to connect to a sensor it shows dozens of weird codes and scrolling reveals just blank pages.. screen resolution is broken, too and bottom of screen are not even fully visible. App throws weird error pops up at you, like: “1::Error Domain=kCLEErrorDomain Code=1 (null)”. What the heck does that even mean!!? Paid and cancel the very same day. Gonna test it out on my android phone but honestly they shouldnt sell it on iphone market if its broken to begin with. Apple you disappoint me by allowing an untested cr-app on your platform!

Fixed the app crashing, glad I can use it again

Sijumba on

App works for riding a fitness center bike when traveling, allows me to continue using Zwift. Difficult to maintain a steady wattage by HR, but approximates it with a little tweaking. Glad the crashing was fixed for iOS from October 2022.

Need help.

Fail

I downloaded the app and bought 1 month subscription to give it a good try. I read that it couldn’t run at the same time as another app. So I deleted ad downloaded on another device and it asked to pay again. So I went back to original device and it is recognizing my purchase. Either refund my 1.99 so I can purchase again, or cancel my subscription. Why does this app have to be so difficult. JQ

Great for zwift

Best way to use Zwift without a power meter. Much better than speed sensor. Just take into account that it has a certain delay since it relies on heart rate and it's not good for sprints. But pretty great overall if you want to use Zwift on a budget.

Does not work with Zwift on iPad or iPhone.

Can not get it to connect to Zwift. The only reason I purchased it. Please refund my money

Works with cycle computer?? jk NO!

I’m on IOS .. like most people. doesn’t work with cycling computer garmin 520. iOS doesn’t broadcast ant + and garmin doesn’t recognize Bluetooth iPhone as a power meter device. This app doesn’t connect as a power meter into wahoo app either. Nor straight into strava as a background power meter. In fact it isn’t useful as a power meter at all until it pairs to something useful. The free 15 minutes didn’t help. I purchase a garmin edge 500.. only to find it didn’t work. Then I bought a garmin 520 which is Bluetooth capable. This too doesn’t work. The free 15 minutes was definitely used before I was able to find this out. I purchased these because I was under the impression this app would work. It does not. After writing this out I’m downgrading my star score

HR was double actual

zzz-biker on

United States

I read about this app and quickly downloaded, hoping to integrate broadcast power to Zwift from a recumbent cycle. The app found and paired with a Wahoo Tickr HR monitor, but the displayed HR was twice my actual HR. Given that, I did not attempt to run with Zwift. Also, I initially tried to download on an older iPad with 10.3 OS, but the app refused to download even though it states version 10 and later.

Great but minor change needed

testpancake on

Overall this app is great! The power is surprisingly accurate and it works perfectly with Zwift. The only downside is that I'm unable to minimize the app or close my phone screen while using it - it'll just pause my Zwift ride. This would be a nice feature to have, but not a deal breaker.

App didn’t connect with my Apple Watch so I purchased a Polar OH1+ Optical Heart Rate Sensor and the app connects to it. My subscription still says I’m using free but I can work with that since it is now working with Zwift.
