## HUDWAY Drive Description
It’s how you drive focused and stay connected at the same time!

HUDWAY Drive heads-up display (hudway.co/drive) allows you to keep your eyes on the road ahead without compromising the comfort of staying connected.

The app seamlessly delivers notifications, incoming calls, navigation directions to the transparent screen on the dashboard.

This is how you’ll revise the experience of driving with a smartphone — when there’s no need to check it, when you instantly receive all the information you selected to receive — and respond hands- and hassle-free.

Why HUDWAY Drive?

Stay in touch without being distracted by the phone:

— Instantly know who's calling you and decide whether to pick up the phone.
— Get notifications from the apps that matter to you: Messages, Mail, Calendar, WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Skype, Telegram, Viber, etc.
— See what you’re listening to — never lower your eyes to check on the track you switch to.

Build routes and get to your destination in the quickest way:

— Minimalist map design focuses on the really important things while you're driving.
— Information about speed limits helps you comply with traffic rules.
— The route is built with traffic jams in mind. You are always offered the best route.
— If you prefer to stick with Waze or Google Maps, you can have them mirrored to the HUD.

Get real-time information about your car with the OBD-II scanner that comes with the device:

— Speed — now brought from your car computer to your field of vision.
— RPM — so that you shift gears at the right moments.
— Fuel consumption — whenever you feel like viewing instantaneous consumption or seeing your trip cost calculated in real time.
— Fuel tank level — shows you the fuel level percentage to keep an eye on and never run out of fuel in the middle of nowhere.
— Battery voltage — for you to quickly check if your battery and alternator are okay.
— Coolant and oil temperature — to stay confident there's nothing wrong with your vehicle's engine.

Tune it to suit you best at any moment:

— Select from the variety of widgets — and create the combination that speaks to you
— Minimize the widgets — they will stay at the bottom of your line of sight and keep the main area clear until a notification pops in.
— Go for mirroring — that’s how you can have Waze, Google Maps, and other applications displayed on the HUD.

See how it can help you with the traffic tickets:

— Fewer speeding tickets — you’re in better control of your speed and current limit as they’re displayed on the HUD.
— No more fines for using your phone while driving — HUDWAY Drive keeps it out of your hands and focus.

HUDWAY Drive is what makes navigation with a smartphone safer, more comfortable, and less-distracted.

## HUDWAY Drive Reviews in United States

### *---- "Worked for 3 months"
After 3 months the device stopped working. Sometimes it would not come on at all. Sometimes it would turn off and on. I waited for a year for this device. What a joke.
-- marchitect99, 2025-05-05

### *---- "Flawed product"
The HUD crashed ever so often, partially did not restart. Phone needs to be unlocked and Hudway app opened that it works. Navigation voice does not announce full directions and gets cut off. OBDII dongle runs on continous power draining the battery. Having a fuse tap on IG would help. Helpdesk did not respond to my last email. Do not recommend this product.
-- Ghgdgjgxd, 2025-04-19

### *---- "Functionality leaves a lot to be desired"
The app is really bad. For some reason the hudway wont pair with my phone even though it’s discoverable and done it before. Can’t tell if there’s a way to factory reset it or not. The Bluetooth OBD doesn’t connect in time most of my drives or it doesn’t pull in the correct information. It’ll say the RPMs are not available on my car. It’s nice when it works but it doesn’t work more often than it does.
-- Punk'n_Disorderly, 2025-01-28

### *---- "Disappointed"
The hardware is disappointing and impossible to read during the day and in sunlight. The app doesn’t offer many features, and the map doesn’t work at all for me. Not a good product I would recommend at the moment.
-- kspindler, 2024-12-02

### **--- "Why I can’t use Waze or google map or Apple map?"
Your own navigation is not good (I think it’s Chinese company) Mirroring is not useful also my phone gets hot so fast. Why there is no speed warning? everything except navigation is ok. if the app allows Waze, google,Apple map. I’ll guarantee your app will be above average.
-- justinman123, 2024-04-26

### *---- "Device stop working"
Bad hardware. The device stop working and support doesn’t seem like know how. Now I have an expensive car brick.
-- Luisjov, 2023-12-16

### ***** "App"
Works as intended. Just received my unit a couple of weeks ago and overall I am pleased with it
-- EJF@OGI, 2023-10-12

### ****- "Great product when you can pair the device"
Very intuitive to use when it works. Have not been able to pair to device for a month or so now. Hopefully an update will remedy the situation.
-- TheWebster5, 2022-01-09

### *---- "Fraudulent product"
If there was a negative 5 star rating, then this company would get it. This product is a complete fabrication of the truth. Most of the features are different than described. iPhone mirroring is not supported at all. It uses a form of screen recording and doesn’t work very well. They claim you can keep your phone in your pocket, but if you don’t lock your screen, portrait view is unusable. After waiting so long, I finally got mine only t have it malfunction on the second use. Their camera system never worked at all. They acknowledged the defects but have intentionally delayed issuing a return invoice for months. I tried to visit their offices, but turns out the address used is a recreation room of a luxury apartment across the street from the beach. I truly believe they will steal everyone's money and file bankruptcy because they obviously spent more money on advertising and packaging than the actual products themselves.
-- wildcrd1976, 2021-12-22

### ****- "iPhone Mirror Doesn’t Work"
Would have given it 5 stars if the iPhone mirror had worked. Can’t use google maps or waze etc. Followed the directions included with the app… bluetooth and wifi connects, checked the mirror setting in the app to make sure it’s turned on, can’t find Hudway Drive when trying to mirror. Tried two different iPhones still no luck.
