Hue Party for Philips Hue

Tapped button on hue bridge. Nothing. Looking for bridge. Garbage. No help docs.

I’ve used this app for years and it just stopped working. I would connect my music to my Bluetooth speaker and then I would go into the Hue Party app and using my phone mic, the music and lights would sync perfectly. Now, when I do the same thing I’ve done for years, as soon as I open the Hue party app, it kicks my speaker off the Bluetooth so then the music only will play through my phone. I rebooted my phone and deleted and reinstalled the app to no avail…. so I had to download another Hue light sync app and it works perfectly. I sent a support request to their Twitter as they’ve said to do under App support and haven’t heard from anyone. Sad to say goodbye to this app but Not sure where their developers are. If they could fix this glitch I might return to this app but for now, I’m moving on.

License does not cover iPhone and Apple tv both and the want you to buy again. Also the color changing when listening to music is nowhere close to the actual Philips hue sync app for desktop and up IPhone.

In order to use these scenes the app must be opening and running. Do you want to set the mood then put your phone down? You can’t. The lights stop changing color. When the app is open it works well but the fact that it can’t run in the background means I wasted money on this.

This app din't woth its price. Main issue - its mess all my lights. I have clear checkboxes on few lights and they still turning some color on app scene start for no reason. New scene added to random position in list. Animation broken. UI not adapted to retina, everything is so small (icons, text).
