## Human Anatomy Atlas + Description
"Try before you buy" - Download the FREE App, which includes sample content. In-App purchase required to unlock all content.

The only anatomy atlas illustrated by physicians, Atlas of Human Anatomy, 8th edition, brings you world-renowned, exquisitely clear views of the human body with a clinical perspective.

For students and clinical professionals who are learning anatomy, participating in a dissection lab, sharing anatomy knowledge with patients, or refreshing their anatomy knowledge, the Netter Atlas of Human Anatomy illustrates the body, region by region, in clear, brilliant detail from a clinician’s perspective. Unique among anatomy atlases, it contains illustrations that emphasize anatomic relationships that are most important to the clinician in training and practice. Illustrated by clinicians, for clinicians, it contains more than 550 exquisite plates plus dozens of carefully selected radiologic images for common views.

Key Features
- Presents world-renowned, superbly clear views of the human body from a clinical perspective, with paintings by Dr. Frank Netter as well as Dr. Carlos A. G. Machado, one of today’s foremost medical illustrators.
- Content guided by expert anatomists and educators: R. Shane Tubbs, Paul E. Neumann, Jennifer K. Brueckner-Collins, Martha Johnson Gdowski, Virginia T. Lyons, Peter J. Ward, Todd M. Hoagland, Brion Benninger, and an international Advisory Board.
- Offers region-by-region coverage, including muscle table appendices at the end of each section and quick reference notes on structures with high clinical significance in common clinical scenarios.
- Contains new illustrations by Dr. Machado including clinically important areas such as the pelvic cavity, temporal and infratemporal fossae, nasal turbinates, and more.
- Features new nerve tables devoted to the cranial nerves and the nerves of the cervical, brachial, and lumbosacral plexuses.
- Uses updated terminology based on the second edition of the international anatomic standard, Terminologia Anatomica, and includes common clinically used eponyms.

## Human Anatomy Atlas + Reviews in United States

### ***-- "Would work better if the search function worked"
Terrible search function. Doesn’t add much beyond audio labels and ability to hide labels. Incredibly difficult to search for structures (I’m studying for neurocritical care boards). You’re better off with the physical Netter’s textbook
-- vinterborn, 2024-10-07

### ***** "A universe of knowledges"
This app is so convience for student. It contains ton of information.
-- Luu Empire, 2022-01-21

### *---- "It says “Get” with no price until…"
This App Store page for a Netters app says “Get”, with no price until you’ve opened the licensing agreement, which in itself is virtually impossible to read on a small screen, and not downloadable. So you might try to copy it before reading it and agreeing to the terms, but in the middle of that, the licensing agreement, which you haven’t agreed to yet, has disappeared. And now you can see the contents of the app/book, but it turns out it’s really a teaser. And that’s when you FINALLY learn there is a price, and it’s almost $80 for a year’s subscription.

I know how great Netters is. I have the book and wanted a smaller, portable copy. It cost me a lot less than $80, and that price was for a book, not a year.

So it turns out this app is not for me.
-- yikes, how long???, 2021-09-27

### *---- "Need to repurchase?!?"
I purchased the previous version of the Netter app, which I think was through Elsevier. Now that app is no longer supported and is unable to use with the iOS on my iPad. I am unable to find an option to restore my purchase from the prior app, so now I need to buy the app version again. What a crock!
-- waller212, 2021-09-13

### *---- "Money grab"
What an absolute money grab. I have the physical edition of the book and wanted to purchase a copy of the digital edition. Turns out this is not a one time purchase, but a recurring purchase for $75/year. What a joke.

So sick and tired of these yearly subscription models by greedy companies trying to extract ever increasing amounts of money for the same product. Completely turned me off.
-- dueckn, 2021-06-10

### ***** "Great app"
Love the detailed images
-- Nisha Bawa, 2021-01-22

### ***** "Netters is the best!"
Very nice app that allows me to study on the phone. The hotspot and pronunciation features are really nice!
-- Medstud21, 2021-01-21

### ***** "Must Have!"
Beautiful high rez zoomable images!!
You can also tap on any part of the anatomy and have the pronunciation read out loud to you.
-- Rustybag, 2021-01-21

### ***** "It’s a great app!"
The app is easy to use and the content is extremely useful and helpful.
-- go_go_gryffindor, 2021-01-21

### ***** "Very useful app for medical students"
Easy to use app. Very well laid out and crisp images. I would definitely recommend this app.
