## Hungry Girl Diet Book App Reviews in United States

### ***** "Great FREE app"
With every app charging a subscription fee these day it’s refreshing to find a free app that is useful. I love the Hungry Girl Diet book and this makes the plan super easy to follow. Being able to create a food plan on the calendar that I can reference throughout the day and week is so helpful. I also love that it generates a grocery list. I can go down the list, checking off items I already have and then create a list from the items I still need instead of having to go through each recipe.
The only thing I would love love love to see updated is adding in the choices from the companion cookbook, that would make my life that much easier.

But, all in all, a great simple app that does what it’s intended to do

### ***** "Love It"
The app does exactly what it is supposed to and for a free app I wouldn’t expect any of the features people seem to think it should have. Makes a shopping list and a meal plan. I love it.
-- MelliBri96, 2020-05-18

### **--- "Disappointed in Hungry Girl"
Thought with all of the negative reviews, and suggestions on how the app could be more helpful, they might finally update the app and make it a little better. Guess she’s more interested in making money off her cruises & books. Have to admit, if you choose money over your followers, it’s not truly about wanting to help people and doesn’t make me want to buy/follow anymore. Listen to your loyal fans Lisa!

### ***** "All that it promises to be!"
This app is perfect for its purpose- for use alongside the book. It does everything it claims to... not sure why anyone would expect it to replace a fitness tracker, that’s simply not the purpose nor does it claim to be! Love this app. Sad it has low reviews, it does exactly what it’s supposed to!
-- kaurenj, 2020-01-02

### **--- "Dedicated fan but..."
I love all of Hungry Girl books. I thought maybe this app could take the place of a tracker like Fitness Pal. It can’t. At a minimum, I wish the HG app would give the recipe and nutritional values of the food options. To prove that people have the book, you could require them to log on and reference a specific word on a certain page. Or something like that.

### ****- "Helpful but needs updated"
I have found this app so helpful to my weight loss goals, and it is great with the first diet book, but it would be even better if it also gave options beyond the first month. The ability to include or add recipes from the Diet Cookbook as well as the other Hungry Girl cookbooks as well would be a huge help. It would be something that people would most likely be happy to pay for the upgrades for. Since a lot of her recipes are on the website it could be easy to link to those recipes to add the title and photo and grocery list to the dish. This would help so many people stay on track!

### *---- "App is broken"
Doesn’t work? Can’t add meals to the calendar to generate a shopping list and schedule. Please update.
-- stephanielynn718, 2018-09-07

### *---- "Locks up"
App keeps locking up. Not useful.
-- hungrygirl22, 2018-05-03

### *---- "Doesn’t work"
App does not work. You can’t add any meals to be able to generate a shopping list. App will not even let you go back. Very disappointing.
-- eamusick025, 2018-04-21

### *---- "Need to UPDATE!!"
The app still fails to open correctly or in a timely fashion. Laggy and not helpful. You would think Hungry Girl could do much BETTER! I guess she doesn’t actually use the app or she would see the issues! FAIL!!
