## HuntCache Description
HuntCache is a private stalking and angling logbook for Britain's quieter field sports. The app keeps everything on the device. It does not have an account, a login, or any back-end at all.

THE VAULT
Every grid reference you save is wrapped in AES-256 using a key held in your iPhone's Secure Enclave and gated by your device passcode. Remove the passcode and the vault seals itself.

THE LOGBOOK
Long-press the map to log a high seat, feed ride, swim, or slipway. Link entries to spots. Record weights in metric or imperial, antler points, length. Attach photos — location and metadata are stripped on import so the image library never betrays a spot.

THE KIT LOCKER
Rifles, bows, crossbows, rods, reels, scopes. Note zero distance, line rating, drag, ratio. Track rounds, arrows, and lure stock. Log service, cleaning, and inspections. Serial numbers are stored only as a hash, never in plain text, and never exported.

THE ALMANAC
Moon phase and sunrise / sunset are computed on-device. No network call, no location-always prompt.

WHAT HUNTCACHE REFUSES TO DO
• Never transmits your grid reference anywhere.
• No analytics, no crash SDKs, no trackers.
• No account, no sign-in, no email collected.
• No banner ads, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions.
• No iCloud sync — device-only, by design.

EXPORT
Export to CSV or PDF with grid references at broad area (~11 km) for sharing, or exact when required by a wildlife body. Always your call.

FIELD-READY
• Dark-first interface that works at dusk.
• Metric or imperial units.
• Fully offline.
• Compatible with iPhone and iPad, iOS 17 and later.
