Designed specifically for Australian Hunters in mind, Hunting Grounds provides the following features: - Unique Satellite / Topographic basemap - Vector based topographic, and plain satellite basemaps also available. - Save maps to your phone for use when you don't have a wifi or cellular signal. - Rich geographical layer library including: - Crown Land hunting areas. - Private land boundary information. - Species distribution maps for a number of different game species. - Bushfire burn data. - Track your hunts with the Activity Tracker - Markers, with configurable icons and colours, plus the ability to drop a marker where ever you tap on the map, where you're currently standing, or a fixed distance and heading from where you're standing (useful for when you're on the stalk). - Other useful map tools to make your next stalk a successful one. * Please note: Hunting Grounds requires an active subscription to use the app. Subscription options will be shown once you've created an account. Continued use of the GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. ## Hunting Grounds Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple115/v4/c4/0d/df/c40ddfa7-bc6c-e547-ab93-b4e02b4aefa3/d3ed56fb-11a9-4aaf-bab8-db229024a9e2_crown_land.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple115/v4/a7/5a/61/a75a61f2-05e5-cdfb-3f69-3a2ae3ec85f9/26599740-f981-4c07-adb9-4cd6db00aa79_game_distribution.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple115/v4/04/a1/91/04a19125-4e60-7bcc-7407-c07ea8fb5273/766d7d5a-3976-416a-b140-7d48bf5c6528_Map_tools.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple115/v4/ee/c7/3a/eec73a26-0941-5acf-e9a9-d0c131d56bb4/2090e6e1-b5f7-45ae-9f8b-a52477993178_private_lands.png/1242x2688.png) ## Hunting Grounds Rating Breakdown in Australia - 5 stars: 5 (36%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 1 (7%) - 2 stars: 3 (21%) - 1 stars: 5 (36%) ## Hunting Grounds Reviews in Australia ### *---- "Doesn’t work" Pretty disappointed. Would have been amazing if it worked -- SubiBoxer, 2024-08-02 ### *---- "Useless without a Premium subscription" The app shows as free in the apple store. But after i downloaded and installed the app, I couldn’t use anything on the app without subscribing to their premium paid plan. -- Muhannad.WG, 2024-02-08 ### **--- "Don’t rely on the offline maps" So I found the offline maps didn’t work and this got me into a tight spot. I had downloaded the area in high detail (it took a while too) and when I got out there it refused to work. Made life a little challenging. I also found the topo maps to be hit and miss to say the least… The distribution maps seem less than optimal also… -- RobbD55, 2023-07-03 ### *---- "Not Worth purchasing" App is very unsupported, out of date and definitely not worth the amount subscription costs -- shaun_06, 2023-04-20 ### *---- "Run a trial period" The app download displays no cost. You download it then it it’s you with as subscription. I’m not adverse to paying for it, but I’d like to try it out first before I get it. If it’s anything like the VicMaps one it’s not worth a pinch. Run a free 30 day trial, then if you like it, subscribe. 1 star for the grab. -- MeccanoKid, 2022-09-20 ### ***-- "Does this have a national park overlay as well?" A trial function would be useful -- dixonbainbridge, 2022-03-15 ### ***** "Best hunting app for Australia" Has all the information you need and more, certainly is the best hunting app for Australia that I’ve seen!!! -- Magpie1234op, 2022-02-27 [View all Hunting Grounds reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Hunting Grounds In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | One Month Subscription | $4.99 | | One Year Subscription | $47.99 | | Promo - One Month Subscription | $4.99 | ## Hunting Grounds Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Top Grossing | Australia | Navigation | #90 | ## Hunting Grounds Discovered Keywords - hunting grounds ## Apps Similar to Hunting Grounds - [My Visit – NSW State Forests](https://apptail.io/app/my-visit-nsw-state-forests-Pgj/australia) - [ExplorOz Traveller](https://apptail.io/app/exploroz-traveller-dqj/australia) - [Billy Goat Offroad](https://apptail.io/app/billy-goat-offroad-puq/australia) - [Australian Geology Travel Maps](https://apptail.io/app/australian-geology-travel-maps-DNpb/australia) - [Newtracs](https://apptail.io/app/newtracs-JOpb/australia) - [PACKU: Hike,Bikepack,Overland](https://apptail.io/app/packu-hikebikepackoverland-SgLb/australia) - [BathyMaps](https://apptail.io/app/bathymaps-KJog/australia) - [Trail Navigator Victoria](https://apptail.io/app/trail-navigator-victoria-WCXh/australia) - [Victoria's High Country](https://apptail.io/app/victorias-high-country-vUNm/australia) - [Ten Four](https://apptail.io/app/ten-four-uNKn/australia) ## Hunting Grounds Available In - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/hunting-grounds-Auce/australia) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/hunting-grounds-Auce/new-zealand) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
