An interplay of machines, monsters, medicine, riots and speculative fictions, the artworks are a culmination of a Long Winter residency wherein emerging artists Cheyenne Rain LeGrande, Cassraa, Malik McKoy Vasuki Shanmuganathan and Shonee developed their artistic practice for the realm of Augmented Reality (AR). These projects are in conversation with commissioned works by Hiba Ali, Casey Koyczan and Linda Zhang. Gesturing to both the subversiveness and precarity of street art, the AR installations around Dundas West and other corners of the city invite participants to intervene and dream in Toronto’s fraught public space. ## Hypercity Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource122/v4/ce/bc/f2/cebcf255-e23b-4759-8f95-fee103af26f5/5c5b606c-27fd-481d-b64a-6ecfedb7c7e4_Hypercity_iPhone_11_2022-10-28_1242x2268_A.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource112/v4/41/16/94/4116942b-e9bd-3bf6-b13e-74bb53a23c48/511f5cbb-7170-4045-95a6-24b4595e0453_Hypercity_iPhone_11_2022-10-28_1242x2268_C.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource112/v4/98/4e/00/984e0034-deb0-59d8-4660-c621ba76f398/b273e821-9f6f-4dcf-83ef-ec9bad0507ee_Hypercity_iPhone_11_2022-10-28_1242x2268_B.png/1242x2688.png) ## Hypercity Rating Breakdown in Canada - 5 stars: 2 (100%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 0 (0%) ## Hypercity Reviews in Canada ### ***** "Pretty incredible app!" Kind of amazing that this exists. Emerging artists looking critically at this new technology at an important time in its development. To be navigating the ethics of these new ‘private’ spaces overlayed on our civic experience is crucial to how our society continues to integrate tech in an equitable way. The projects vary from speculative futures to integrating myths and traditions to actuating physical change in our build environment. Be sure to bundle up as most of the projects are site specific and can take a minute to load, but worth it for the experience. -- lshfdgihch, 2022-11-24 [View all Hypercity reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Apps Similar to Hypercity - [SCENE+](https://apptail.io/app/scene-fol/canada) - [Daily Mitzvot](https://apptail.io/app/daily-mitzvot-Nxq/canada) - [Knowledge Network](https://apptail.io/app/knowledge-network-FVRb/canada) - [A More Beautiful Journey](https://apptail.io/app/a-more-beautiful-journey-XpVc/canada) - [Meme Generator for Make Memes](https://apptail.io/app/meme-generator-for-make-memes-nfBd/canada) - [Mariposa Folk Festival](https://apptail.io/app/mariposa-folk-festival-mLHi/canada) - [Trailer Park Boys+](https://apptail.io/app/trailer-park-boys-enCj/canada) - [FEST: Your Festivals, One App](https://apptail.io/app/fest-your-festivals-one-app-tOgk/canada) - [Putters Paradise](https://apptail.io/app/putters-paradise-CFpn/canada) - [Arcadia Earth AR Toronto](https://apptail.io/app/arcadia-earth-ar-toronto-lJwo/canada) ## Hypercity Available In - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/hypercity-IKHi/canada) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/hypercity-IKHi/australia) - [Spain](https://apptail.io/app/hypercity-IKHi/spain) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/hypercity-IKHi/united-kingdom) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
