Generally the app works well, however if there’s one thing that would make this a great app… the ability for iOS short cuts. Would love to be able to short cut the charger, so I can tell Siri to stop charging, or automate the locking of the charger once charging stops.
Ideally I’d rate the app as 0 stars. As a software engineer and someone who has my own apps on this very App Store I cannot recommend Hypervolt at all. The app is buggy as hell, never shows a correct status of the physical charger. That’s without the fact that the physical charger fails to work on 50% of the time. As the title says don’t waste your time, Hypervolt is not a premium brand or service for EV chargers, save yourself the headaches I’m facing on a regular basis and probably save yourself money going with any brand!
After upgrading to the latest version I am unable to lock the charger, it’s just shows pending! Why update a working reliable app! What do I do now as anyone can use my home charger!
It disconnected my charger and I cannot reconnect. It just won’t find the charger on Bluetooth even if charger is in use. Also not letting me create a new account so I can try to start again.
Appalling that v2 owners are almost totally ignored these days. Company built from the pounds and pence of us v2 owners being promised the world and then cynically abandoned. Shocking. Avoid HV, buy Zappi.
Works well and simple to use
I’m yet to realise the extent of the functions as I’m in transition from Scottish power to octopus but I’m assured that the combination of the two will be awesome. I’m a retired electrician and installed the charger myself, the installation process was easy due to the very clear instructions. The sister installer app worked well but did have a bit of a glitch in the handover, but once achieved the app worked as expected. Love the load distribution graphics. Happy I spent the extra cash on a better charger. Pay cheap, get cheap.

I like how everything is easy to set up and really visible!
Great support team too for and issues.
