This app is excellent, I would like to give it 5 stars, unfortunately the developer doesn’t keep it up to date which sadly lets it down!
Description
iRescue has been designed to provide volunteer search & rescue teams with a real-time team availability information & allowing them to book on/off quickly and easily.
The app allows team members to book themselves as unavailable, for example if they need to leave the area, and book back on when they return at the touch of a button.
The availability is instantly updated across all other team members phones so it's easy to see at any time who is available should the team have a call-out.
Features include -
* Update your availability at the touch of a button
* View availability of your station crew
* Set periods of unavailability/holiday
* Configure your office hours/shift work schedule
* Receive notifications when your station crew levels are low
The iRescue Subscription is an optional monthly auto-renewing subscription which adds:
* Extra detailed working hours statistics
* Extra Notification configuration options
• iRescue Subscription is a 1 month auto-renewing subscription (79p)
• Your subscription will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and will automatically renew (at the duration selected) unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Current subscription may not be cancelled during the active subscription period; however, you can manage your subscription and/or turn off auto-renewal by visiting your iTunes Account Settings after purchase.

App not working
This all has worked well, but now that there is new iPhones on the market the app does not work with any iPhone 15 or above, it would be nice if this developer could update this app to allow it to work with the newer iPhone models.
No longer works
Worked great on my iPhone 12 but upgraded to 16 and doesn’t work and tried to contact but not had a response
Freezes at edit profile screen
It is a shame that on i-phone 14, I can’t even get passed the edit profile screen as it completely freezes with no option to edit, go back or other, resulting in a total shutdown. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling but the same error occurs.
Notifications don’t always arrive
I only seem to get notified about chat activity maybe 30% of the time.
Great app
This is a great app shame that there isn’t a tone to alert you when you have a page this is one key area this app needs to be fixed
Team call sign removal
Great app. Seems to be working better. Removal of the team numbers is a little disappointing. As an OIC I use this to remember each persons call sign for call out attendance on HMCG system.
Availability
Since you updated IRescue I have lost all my availability stats 😣, why is this 🤷🏻♂️
Prone to seizing at the moment
Hi. I have an iPhone 12 Pro and the app is seizing up at the moment. An uninstall is the only way to reset it. Other than that, brilliant.
IRescue
It’s a great idea used it for a number of years, unfortunately parts of it have stopped working, now can’t log off some times, crashes every other time I try to access it. It’s the same for 4 other team members. Unfortunately the owner has now stopped responding to emails about the issues. Hopefully it will get sorted soon🙃
