Easier to use than to explain. My preferred writing app for many years. And it keeps getting better. I especially like IA Writers approach to AI: Do use AI if/when it's usefull, but be aware of what is your own thoughts. Human intelligence and human choice!

It’s not often you download an app and can feel the same level of craft and care you feel in an Apple product or fine piece of furniture. It might just be for writing in, but at the end of the day that’s the core feature of a screen with a keyboard and iA Writer is the best possible way to write on a screen.
I’ve been using iA Writer for years, on both my Mac and iPhone (and iPad, when I had one) and it’s always been a delightful writing experience. It’s in a league 100% of its own. The UX is SUPERB and unmatched by any other app. I also deeply appreciate that the developers haven’t gone the subscription-route❣️ – AND that they’ve recently released a tremendous update, with super-useful features like f.e. Wikilinks 🙏 which has bridged gaps and needs in my workflow. Thank you, iA! 🙏💖
I’ve tried so many, but I always come back to iA Writer. It is simple to use and makes me relax more when writing. It is slick and elegant. Thank you iA Writer. Keep up the good work, and thank you for updating it regularly.
Den er nem at arbejde med og den er god til at forstå (parse) markup fra andre andre apps. Kan anbefales blandt flere jeg har afprøvet. Og så er den ikke abonnementbaseret.

With amazing preview options, for the web writer, or book writer who also wants to be on the beat on iOS, there's also a mac app.
Simple, well thought and clear, opening my mind for writing. As going in a room with lots of space.
