Lost texts
After uppgrading my iPad (14.5.1), was not able to open my prevevious version of iA Writer. I bought new iA Writer and lost all my writings made using older version. Nothing but lost money and an app I don’t want to use any more.
Great book writing tool
I write all my text using iA. It’s just simple and good for my eyes. Easy to focus. Just great!

Please add option ”auto hide/show always” for Status bar.

Itsellä sekö iA Writer ja ny tämä. Jos haluaa vain sen organisoidumman aspektin iA Writeriin, tämä saattaa normihintaisena olla pikkasen liian hintava. Englannin kielellä kirjoittaville saattaa olla pikkasen parempi hinta-laatusuhde. Jos ei ole iA Writeria entuudestaan, tämä on ehdottomasti parempi vaihtoehto, etenkin, jos ajatteleekirjoittavansa iPadillä enemmänkin. Kyllä kannattaa, muuten nakertaa, kun on se sata viimeistelemätöntä juttua iA Writerissa ja niitä pitää vaivalloisesti käydä läpi.
A good start
I really enjoy the care and philosophy of this app, the typography is very beautiful and the available tools are powerful, syntax control is useful when writing longer texts. iCloud sync between platforms works very well and the minimal design if the app lets me focus on writing. I purchased Writer Pro for both platforms, OS X and iOS and really enjoy both of them, the OS X version is more like a finished product. The iOS version is lacking markdown syntax preview and few other things but the devs have stated that these features are coming in the future.
