### ****- "The new logo isn’t the best and the app needs refinement"
I’m an avid long time user, but the app needs refinements. Like, you can’t copy and paste images from web or other apps—a feature that’s seamless in iA Presenter. The display of markup syntax while writing is distracting, and it’s difficult to differentiate between heading levels in long texts. It contradicts the idea of laser focused writing. Also, the older logo was nicer; at least, consider adding the letter ‘A’ to the current design.

### ***** "Simplicity is a hard work"
It really is. Amount of efforts the developer team puts in is really amazing. And they do what they do with a thought. Not like picking up a random idea and implementing it because everyone is craving for it. The blogs in their website are worth reading and gives a glimpse of how things run behind the scenes. I love this app. 
At the downside, I really hope they considered regional pricing for iA writer like they did for Presenter. Also, if one is hopping between Mac and Windows, file syncing is an issue. Integration with OneDrive, Google Drive could solve this issue.

### ***** "Meets all my note taking as well as aesthetic needs!"
iA Writer has been my note taking companion for more than 5 years now, and I cannot stop recommending it whenever someone is seeking to go beyond the default Notes. 

The learning curve may be slightly steeper if you want to fully utilise markdown, but the efficiency benefits are more than worth it. 

Truly helps churning out well formatted documents at the speed of thought.

My only regret is it is not available for Linux. Otherwise this is exactly the app I needed. I plan to write my thesis using this.

I bought this app for my iPad. I also own a MacBook Pro and wanted to download the app and use it on my MacBook Pro. 

Why do I have to buy it again ? I understand that once I buy an app I can use it on a minimum of 3 devices - as far as I remember.

Every time a file is opened from Amazon Drive it gets copied to iCloud. That’s not how this is supposed to work. Or this be renamed as import to iCloud.

### ***** "The best writing experience across iOS and Mac"
I have been an iAWriter user for quite long time. This is one of the best writing experience across all my apple devices including MacBook, iPhone, iPad and iMac. Sync works quite well. 

@ia is doing an amazing job not just with the typography, but their menus and other little supporting elements like me ha are integrated to distract free writing. A great tool for everyone.

This app has many good features. It is minimalistic and no settings approach is fine. But the folders sometimes don't sync, and the handwriting mode on a mobile phone doesn't make much sense. The font is attractive but after some time you get bored of it. I couldn't find any option to change it.

### ***** "Looks better, but a key function is broken"
The old IA writer pro had its problems, true. And the new version has done a great job of making most of those disappear. 
However, it appears that the offline Dropbox storage functionality is now broken. That's a pity because it was a key reason I liked IA writer so much. Now, if I try to open a file stored in Dropbox, it opens at first. But with every keystroke, a pop up that reads "Document Error" appears. So much for distraction-free writing. 
I notice that this problem occurs even when connected to the Internet. Please fix it soon, as it's what makes IA writer worth using, for me.
