My favorite Markdown writer. 4/5 for having so little options in typefaces.
Three typefaces to choose from, really? Can’t we have even the default font options provided by Apple?

1) There’s no obvious, accessible way to discover the location of a file opened from “Recent”. There should be some kind of clickable breadcrumb display. Well, it is possible to find the location of a “recent” file by clicking on the “move this file” function and looking for the highlighted folder, but that’s just cumbersome and weird if you just want to know the location of the currently open “recent” file. 2) Occasionally, the sidebar will return to the topmost level when you open this app, instead of returning to where you were last time. (I work with text files that are on iCloud by the way.) I haven’t used this app lately so I will have to test if it still happens in the latest version. Or does it happen when the app is updated? It would be nice to have it resume the last session as much as possible. Edited to add: The text area loses keyboard focus after switching away (command+tab) then switching back to this app. Sometimes I just want to quickly look up something in another app then get back to writing, but iawriter always needs a tap on the text area to resume writing. Maybe it's a safety thing? But it makes the experience less smooth compared to writing on a desktop machine. Please consider an option for auto-restoring the keyboard focus. Edit2: The keyboard focus issue described above seems to happen when there is also an active text field in the app that was switched from.
theres a bug? i cant seem to open my notes sync from icloud but i can view it on my mac os app
Hoping there's an option to change font type and size while writing.
Crashes within minutes of opening the app and loses whatever I've written in that span of time! Please fix this!
When I find it hard to focus, using this app works. It just hangs sometimes.
For professionals indeed. It is a glorified font switcher because that is all that it does in between modes. But for a writer looking to put words on paper, that's all you need.
