## iAnalyzer Description
iAnalyzer is a FFT based professional software to analyze the audio signals for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. 
After 10 years of good sales all over the world, we are glad to see that iAnalyzer has gradually become the industry standard in audio analyze field, due to it's very high quality of course. This is definitely a Must Have app for every musician or sound engineer.
We also released the Mac version, you can download it from "Mac App Store".

Features:
-High performance software design for Real Time Analyzing(RTA) and complex graph displaying.
-Works on 44K sample rate, 20~20k Hz frequency output.
-FFT spectrum, Octave and 1/3 Octave result display.
-Colored curve depend on the dB value.
-Flex FFT size, 4K, 8K, or 16K.
-Reference Pressure configurable.
-2D or 3D or Mix 2D&3D display.
-History result display while in 3D mode.
-High precision peak frequency computation, average-error lower than 0.1%.
-Auto peak frequency tracing, up to 3 peaks can be displayed simultaneously and each one be linked from text to the graph clearly.
-Frequency to music scale converter, you can use iAnalyzer as a professional instrument tuner, or to test if any sound is tuneful.  
-Powerful synthesizer to allow you replay the audio with different speed, from 1/8 to 4x. With this feature, you can listen to your recoding very slowly. (Require iPhone 4S and later, iPad 2 and later which shipped with multiple cores processor.)
-VGA output support. Sync display on your device and extern screen. (iPhone 4, iPod touch 4 and iPad required)
-Current waveform display and summary waveform display.
-Record at any position and red color to mark the latest recording, unlimited recording time.
-Play back the recording.
-Oscope Auto-Scale: Enable you to view more details for low level signal.
-Snap to Peak: Find peak more easily while using measure line.
-File Manager: Recording in wave format, create new files, delete exist files, etc.
-Wifi Transfer and Data exporting: Download wav files with your browser, including screen shot, FFT result in txt file.

-Touch in the result area to use the measure line, bordered label means where is a peak.
-Move in the waveform area or touch on the bottom of the area to change the current position, iAnalyzer re-compute and update graph automatically. You can also change the position while playing.

-The internal mic of iPhone first generation can only works on 8K sample rate, you need head-set to achieve 44k.

How to Use:
-Touch and move in the result area with one finger to use the measure line.
-Touch and move in the result area with 3 fingers to rotate the 3D graph.
-Touch and move in the summary waveform area to move the current position.
-Tap in the scroll bar area(bottom of screen) to re-seek the current position.

The app is good in its graphic display but lacks an important feature - the ability to rename files. Which are automatically named by the app as you save. The names assigned are just numbers representing the date.

### ***** "IAnalyzer"
IAnalyzer is an outstanding audio spectrum analyzer app with several unique features.

IAnalyzer not only shows the spectrum of a sound, with the frequency and dB indicated, but it also identifies what musical note the loudest peaks are close to, and how many cents sharp or flat these peaks are.  This is extremely useful for tuning / manufacturing complex musical instruments where the harmonics of the note need to be tuned along with the fundamental.

IAnalyzer is also unique in its ability to record a sound and freeze the action during playback so that the details of the sound spectrum and it's harmonics can be examined.  You drag the recorded sound track forward and backward on the bottom of the screen with your finger while examining the detailed audio spectrum of the sound on the top half of the screen.  This feature is extremely helpful when trying to examine very transient sounds like the sound of a Mallet hitting a marimba key, or "tap tuning" a marimba resonator.  It allows you to examine the attack and decay of the sound as a whole, as well as the behavior of the individual harmonics.

Most music instrument apps fail to lock in on very brief percussion sounds, and I have not found another audio spectrum app that combines the ability to freeze the action of percussion sounds while also identifying the musical notes for the peaks that appearing the sound spectrum,

I have many different musical instrument tuner apps, but iAnalyzer has become my "go to " app for tuning mallet instruments and their resonators.

There is about 50 db of noise in a dead silent room. Should be a way to fix this. A paid app should be accurate. Current scaling is way off.

Very practical app and elegant graphics. I would like to see the dB vertical scale as we can see the horizontal Hz scale.
I hope it will also work with the USB line/mic in and more important, be able to insert recorded wav files so that one can check
his recordings. Without those possibilities, it is too expensive for what it does right now. Please update !

### ****- "Simple, fast, and aesthetic"
This is an all-around good app. It works exactly as described, launches quickly, and works perfectly. As an [undocumented] bonus feature, it even supports video out.

There are a few tweaks that would make this app even better:

* Support for landscape orientation.
* The ability to choose which panels are visible.
* Analysis of audio data that wasn't recorded from within the application (e.g., integration with your media library, uploading files to the application).
* Manual scaling of either axis.

One glaring problem with this app is the price: it's far too expensive for its feature set. Though it executes these features well, it doesn't really do enough to justify its price tag.

Price aside, this is a great little app that does exactly the job it advertises.
