Do you just use an "ordinary" lacing method? You may be surprised at what's possible! You have found, without a doubt, the most awesome collection of shoe lacing methods. Cool, trendy methods. Useful, practical methods. Unusual, special purpose methods. "Ian's Laces" includes 52 different lacing methods, many with several variations, for a total of 112 possibilities. Compiled by Ian "Professor Shoelace" Fieggen, creator of the web's number one site about shoelaces, this app brings together more than a decade of lacing research. Plus, you'll also get exclusive methods not available on Ian's web site (or anywhere else). Each method includes one or more clear, color-coded diagrams plus detailed, step-by-step instructions and helpful tips. Everything is included - NO Internet access is required. What's more, you can design your own patterns! Just as quickly as you can drag your finger, our virtual laces snap to the eyelets of a virtual shoe. It's all about your creativity, so you can export or email your best "lace art" with ease. With "Ian's Laces", your footwear will never be "ordinary" again. And if someone does ask: "How did you do that?", the answer is at your fingertips, not your feet. ## Ian's Laces Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple7/v4/28/a2/3a/28a23afb-80af-dc9c-5d44-afea8f211249/pr_source.png/640x960.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple7/v4/58/61/2b/58612bea-a12f-0e2e-4765-9b474a7bda46/pr_source.png/640x960.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple7/v4/b1/ac/1d/b1ac1dfb-6582-a6bf-1db9-7ecf49f1f445/pr_source.png/640x960.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple7/v4/b2/8c/d1/b28cd138-14a7-bf37-be94-c72cb6bd0adc/pr_source.png/640x960.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple5/v4/a3/21/7f/a3217fb2-fd01-2715-e50f-5ae03191f96d/pr_source.png/640x960.png) ## Ian's Laces Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 8 (67%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 1 (8%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 3 (25%) ## Ian's Laces Reviews in United States ### *---- "Bought to support, doesn’t have everything the website does" I primarily use Ian’s stuff for work boots. This app is all sneakers except for “riding boots” I don’t really know a tradesman wearing riding boots to work Kinda upset I spent money on this -- iamtheswimmaster, 2022-08-02 ### *---- "Disappointed!" Website is way better. No step-by-step directions on how to tie each different lacing style. I guess I probably owe Ian $2 for my use of his website. Was hoping the app would be a good experience. Unless I’m missing something, stick to his website—it is a better teacher and far more user friendly. (unless you’d like to donate $2 to his cause) -- iMac, therefore i think, 2020-03-08 ### ***** "Amazing site, great app" So excited to discover Ian’s amazingly helpful site has an app! Useful and fun. -- JenMontreal, 2019-09-18 ### ***** "Love this app!!" I’ve known about Ian’s web site for several years now, and have always enjoyed wandering around on it. Was surprised to find this app and payed the $1.99 to down load it. I’m writing this review as speculation about the Mueller investigation runs rampant (fall of 2018). This app is a nice diversion. Entertaining and informative [if you’re into tying shoes ;)] -- JSLR2, 2018-11-18 ### ***** "Excellent lace and knot app!" Lovingly compiled by a true shoelace expert, this collection of lacings and knots is full of "must try" ideas. The "how to" parts are perfectly clear like the best knot apps, and the "create-a-lace" is the fastest way to try out your ideas. -- Jack Burton, ME!, 2017-02-17 ### ****- "Great app, c-a-l is a flop though" Great list of lacing methods and knots. The favorites and wall of laces are good features. Animated steps for the knots are helpful also. Frankly the create-a-lace feature is a joke and the app would be better without it as it is now. I don't mind the price because I like Ian's website so maybe I'm helping support it but others may not like it -- ScratchMCB, 2013-04-25 ### *---- "Teacher" I can't use this to teach my 4-5 old students how to tie their shoes. Lost my money. -- Sygarza, 2013-03-02 ### ***-- "Their is one thing" Their is one thing I didn't like about this app it is about the make your own lace You can only passe the lace thought the eyeholes once therefor you can only make simple designs -- William Gondouin, 2012-09-13 ### ***** "Surprisingly fun!" I never thought that learning different lacing styles would be fun, let alone informative, I was wrong. Thanks to my wife for buying me the app! Great app, Ian! -- Jennifer Gay, 2012-02-23 ### ***** "Great app" Finally I can keep my boat shoes tied! Thanks Ian! I will now also be able to learn many more ways to tie my shoes. I bought the iPad app, great graphics with easy to follow directions -- tFlames24, 2012-01-16 [View all Ian's Laces reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Ian's Laces Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Top Paid | United Kingdom | Reference | #64 | | Top Paid | Kuwait | Reference | #68 | | Top Paid | Vietnam | Reference | #83 | | Top Paid | Ecuador | Reference | #89 | | Top Paid | Mexico | Reference | #125 | | Top Paid | Thailand | Reference | #135 | | Top Paid | Indonesia | Reference | #153 | | Top Paid | Philippines | Reference | #157 | | Top Paid | Pakistan | Reference | #162 | | Top Paid | Norway | Reference | #168 | | Top Paid | India | Reference | #169 | | Top Paid | Singapore | Reference | #177 | | Top Paid | Russia | Reference | #177 | | Top Paid | Egypt | Reference | #190 | | Top Paid | Australia | Reference | #191 | | Top Paid | New Zealand | Reference | #192 | | Top Paid | United States | Reference | #212 | | Top Paid | Israel | Reference | #220 | | Top Paid | Saudi Arabia | Reference | #223 | | Top Paid | United Arab Emirates | Reference | #224 | | Top Paid | Canada | Reference | #232 | | Top Paid | Belarus | Reference | #235 | | Top Paid | Kazakhstan | Reference | #237 | | Top Paid | Nigeria | Reference | #245 | ## Apps Similar to Ian's Laces -
