iBreviary TS Pro Terra Sancta is the application that brings the traditional Catholic prayer of the Breviary and all the texts of the Liturgy on your iPhone, iPad and iPod.
This app wants to contribute, through a partnership with Custody of the Holy Land, friendship and prayer for all Christians living Holy Places.
iBreviary contains:
• Breviary, Missal and Lectionary complete in 10 languages and continuously updated (Italian, English, Spanish, French, Romanian, Arabic, Portuguese, Turkish, Latin and Galician)
• The text of the Breviary and the Missal in the "Latin Vetus Ordo" and Latin
• All the main prayers of the Christian
• Rituals for the sacraments and celebrations
• The liturgical texts used in the Holy Land
Also iBreviary "Pro Terra Sancta" offers:
• The section, "Rites", with all the rituals and texts for the various celebrations Catholic (Adoration of the Eucharist, the Sacraments, Blessings, etc.)
• The brand new "Terra Sancta" the liturgical texts used in the Holy Land
• Keep in touch through the blog and the pages of the Franciscans Holy Places
• A rich section dedicated to Saints
• Store a day on any device
• Full management of saved days (selection and cancellation)
• Store up to 14 days (something very much in demand by those who want to download a bit of days for travel or long period without internet access)
• Download the entire week
• Enlarge and diminish the text dimension, with the flick of the fingers on the screen
• The ability to adjust the color of the background, the font and the size for a better reading of texts

Has gotten faster

Does not seem to load forever anymore, though it does seem to take a second now and then but has been much improved. Thank you!

Incredibly Useful

iBreviary is the go-to app for priests looking to pray the Divine Office. The UI might take a minute to figure out, but the app is otherwise very clean and does exactly what you need it to. I’ve tried other apps, and this is the best one.

overall i like it, and i especially like the useful prayer resources!!! i like them so much, that i wish there was a save/love react feature to save some of the articles in your profile!

Grear app when it works

I love tuis app when it works. Recently after a few days or a week or two, when I open it, it shows no day information, and when I click on Liturgy of the hours or another item menu, it is completely blank. I try to close and reopen, but it never works after that. I need to delete the app and redownload. This is happening more frequently lately. Perhaps it is a sign of the suffering they are going through in Palestine and Israel. We must pray for them.

Is working faster now

I’ve noticed the app running faster for some time, not sure what changed but I’ve happily increased my rating from 4 to 5 stars.

Unusable on iOS 17

Gives database error- unable to connect to server error. Unusable now.

I love the app, but….

I’ve been using the app for years. The old version worked like a gem and was gold. I’ve gotten used to the new app (there is some millennial frustration with the fact that the hours portion of the app seems to take slower to open than the readings portion but whatever). However, the fact that I lose downloaded days and then the app won’t load anything of the day until I delete the app itself and re-download the app from the store has me looking for something else…

Been using this app over a decade!!

Since I updated to version 8.0.1, the app no longer opens. Very disappointing I’ve been using this app for over a decade. Update: Still cannot open the app after last update. Is this issue going to be fixed? Updated to 8.0.2 app still not opening. Please fix. THANK YOU update 8.0.3 opens!!

An offering for app users

Having prayed with iBreviary for a few years now, I offer this humble suggestion when the app. doesn’t load properly. Set aside your frustration and then…delete it from your device & reload it. I had the same trouble others are experiencing. It is NOT the application, “iBreviary”. Delete it and reload it, not from your library but from the app store(again). God bless!
