iCab Mobile is a web browser for the iOS. It provides many unique and useful features you won't find in other iPhone browsers.

APPLE WATCH:
The Watch App is a remote control for iCab Mobile, so you can navigate, zoom, scroll, open bookmarks, links, the homepage, switch tabs or sitch on/off the fullscreen mode. Since watchOS 6.2 you can also open web pages and browse the Web directly on the Apple Watch. But there are still limitations: there are no navigation buttons (back/forward) available.

FILE UPLOADS:
iCab Mobile can upload any files on web pages.

SEARCHING:
iCab Mobile comes with several default search engines you can choose from. You can easily add new search engines.

FILLING OUT FORMS:
iCab Mobile can save web forms and restore the form content later (manually or automatically). The saved forms data can be password protected. Supports many third-party Password Manager Apps as well.

FILTERS:
There’s a built-in fully customizable filter feature. It allows to block resources, ads, banners, user tracking scripts, cookies etc. Supports AdBlock Plus/EasyList filters as well.

TABS:
iCab Mobile supports Tabs, so you can open multiple web pages at the same time. Links can be opened in Tabs (in the foreground or background) manually or automatically.

BOOKMARKS:
Bookmarks can be organized in folders. You can import/export the bookmarks from/to your PC/Mac browser.

FULLSCREEN MODE:
iCab Mobile provides a fullscreen mode where the whole screen is used to display the web page. No screen space is wasted for toolbars.

DOWNLOADS:
iCab Mobile has a built-in Download Manager so you can download almost all files from the internet. The downloads can be easily transfered to a Mac/PC/Linux computer but also to other Apps on the device which can open these files

MULTIUSER SUPPORT
You can create multiple user accounts, each user has its own private bookmarks, filters, settings, etc.

DROPBOX
iCab Mobile supports Dropbox. Export/Import bookmarks; transfer downloads, images, files, web pages to your Dropbox account.

TWIN BROWSER:
In this mode, you can have two browsers side by side on the iPad. This is especially useful on the large iPad Pro.

VOICEOVER
The App is also accessible for visually impaired and blind users. If VoiceOver is enabled, the App plays soft ticks while a page is loading, so blind users are able to identify when the page load has finished.

- Addressbook support lets you access the web pages from the addressbook.
- When launching iCab can either open an empty page, the homepage or restore the Tabs which were open the last time
- There are different color schemes and designs
- Document Sharing lets you pass downloads and files to other Apps in the device

The App includes a store providing several InApp purchases. These are meant as a tip jar. The InApp purchases are available for different prices, so you can pick the amount for the tip yourself. Doing so will unlock a few cool features as a reward, these are always the same, regardless of the amount of the tip. Users who have purchased the App within the last 12 months do get all these features for free, no need to buy one of the InApp purchases. Though they can nevertheless give me a tip, if they want to... ;-)

Le meilleur navigateur possible sur ios !!!!

Je suis très exigeant avec ios car je fais tout depuis l’iphone et l’ipad et je trouve que c’est de très très loin le meilleur navigateur web qui existe pour cette plateforme. Bravo pour votre app et le nombre incroyable de modules et règles d’automatisation, personnalisation, etc…. un travail d’orfèvre pour laisser une interface simple et efficace.

Whatsapp web cookies deleted

Hi. Some cookies are now deleted on session quit even when it's told not too. For instance whatsapp web cookies. Other cookies are still saved but when I reopen with an admin account some of the cookies like whatsapp web are lost.

Comme les autres commentaires: ça aurait dû être Safari pour iPad. L’interface est entièrement customisable (+ sans bar de statuts), le scroll pad et les dessins permettent de pratiquement faire de la navigation à une main sur iPad. En plus il y a les filtres pour bloquer les pubs (processus pas évident à mettre en place quand même). Bref, il faut l’avoir essayé et se l’approprier pour comprendre qu’il n’y a pas meilleur option sur iPad. J’ai quasiment essayé tous les autres et je n’étais pas satisfait parce qu’ils n’étaient pas aussi bien adaptés pour iPad.

iCabMobile offers lots and lots of options to customize and tweak you browser. If you like to control what a software does, then this is the browser you need. This is what Safari should have been. It's really a wise buy! iCabMobile permet un contrôle fin et personnalisable du navigateur un peu comme Firefox sous Windows. En gros c'est ce qu'aurait dû être Safari! A mes yeux cette application fait partie de celles qui sont nécessaires (un achat vraiment utile). ;-)

Très bon navigateur, stable avec une ensemble de fonctions très bien conçues, notamment pour le respect de la vie privée.

best browser for iphone ipad for reading web pages

I have just bought icab mobile for my iphoneX, it is by far the best browser for reading newspapers and other web pages. It has a Readers Mode that makes all web pages easy to read. As well, if you adjust the font size for each newspaper’s web site, icab remembers the perfect font size for each paper. By far better for easy reading on small screens than the apps the newspapers have created or using Safari ios reading mode that is not dependable. A simple click allows you to translate any page and send it by mail, whatssap etc. I just bought the mac version: extremely fast. And the developer is creating a new version to allow you to sync bookmarks etc between ios and mac versions.

Ne fonctionne pas

Sur IOS 9.3, j'ai les mêmes soucis de sites internet incompatibles avec ma version de Safari. On a l'impression que l'application Cab Mobile utilise le WebKit de Apple comme moteur.

Ça va beaucoup mieux depuis la mise à jour enfin c’est moins rapides que safari c’est dommage
