Journey deep into the Spine of the World mountains, a harsh and unforgiving territory settled by only the hardiest folk. Encounter fearsome beasts that have learned the cunning and ferocity needed to survive among the snow-shrouded peaks. Confront an evil that schemes beneath the carven glaciers and mountainsides to wreak destruction upon the face of Faerûn. This is the world of Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition.

Icewind Dale FAQ

Is Icewind Dale legit?
🤔 The Icewind Dale app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
I am obsessed with dungeons and dragons lately and this game is the perfect fix. I even prefer my iPad version over my console version, although the original PC is still the best version. This version is streamlined for mobile and they did a good job with it. I love coming up with different party scenarios to try and then making a run thru the game. Even though I have most everything memorized by now there's still something so comforting about these games, including Baldur's Gate 1 & 2, etc. I never get bored or tire of these games and it's a must they remain on my tablet. I highly recommend any of these games.

Love this game but script problems made a character useless
I love playing this game particularly on my iPad. However, about three chapters in, my thief stopped wanting to use his bow from a distance and standard charging mobs before he would fire an arrow, making him basically useless. I tried changing his script and that would fix it either. This is mentioned as a bug in the computer version but, since it is iPad, there’s no way to manually fix a character script. Please fix this melee bow bug.
Enjoyed an old game again
I have not had any technical or other issues I see in some reviews. What I like most about this game is that it is one of the only games I can find that you can roll and design a multi character party. 6 characters of various classes. Nearly every game on IOS like this is one character only….i much prefer having my own characters making up a large party. Game is actually 3 “modules” in one. There are 2 larger adventures and one shorter one. Love everything about it.
Bugged trash
World icons just vanished! Can’t leave my current destination! I can’t believe this sort of bug exists in 2022.
Old School Dungeon Crawl at it's Best!!!
It is literally my favorite game ever, at this point. The spacious atmosphere. The random items. The portraits and voice acting. Customizing parties to one's liking. On an iPad!!! Say what!!! For this gen-xer, this game is my Solitaire, my Mahjong, my Tetris, my go to when I want to chill. Thanks Beamdog!!! Rufff!!
Connection Issues
I would like to start off by saying yet another great emulation of a great game. This is going to be my first full play through and I’m trying to connect with my brother via online multiplayer however, I am unstable to connect or even find the game. I am on iOS he is on Mac. The description calls out “cross-platform” and both devices are listed as compatible. Not sure what the issue is but will stay 3/5 until the problem is resolved. If it is just my ignorance on connecting I will apologize.
No way to rotate party formation
I was really excited to get started, but my heart sank when I found out there’s no way to set the facing of your party formation when moving. In the original you could accomplish this using right click + hold to move. On iOS right click is long press, but a long press + hold pans the camera instead.
Setting the facing of your party is extremely important for tactics and for navigating tight spaces. Without a way to do this quickly, the only way is to move each character individual—very cumbersome for a 6 man party.
Because of this lack of just one feature I can’t give it more than 2 stars. It is that important. I’d rather lose the ability to zoom the camera than to lose the ability to easily set party facing
A Few Issues Still
The toggle for the highest difficulty mode, Heart of Fury, is still broken and has been as long as I’ve had this game. It does not matter how many times you put it on this difficulty level, it will reset to the next difficulty lower than this each time you reload the game. It also does not always take place immediately, you have to pass through a zone for the difficulty to change after you flip it back. This is a real pain in the rear. In addition, it sure would be nice to have the ability to add custom portraits on iOS like Baldurs Gate or Neverwinter nights. The number of portraits that come with the game is pretty limited.
Where is the promised patch???
Game is good and worthy of a download but there is a caveat - I don’t think the developer is supporting the game anymore. They promised a patch that never came and their support page no longer works. Hoping they’ll get around to it.
