iComics Reviews

Best comic reader on the App Store

mushroomcomix on

United States

Like many people here, I have gone through nearly every reader in the App Store and this is by far the best! I have never had trouble adding my comics from the store using iCloud and dropbox. My one gripe is that it does not tell you what is already on your device when scrolling through iCloud and dropbox to choose comics, if you switch back to check your library you have to re-start the selection process.

Works well.

The app works well. If I had one suggestion, it would be to have better integration with cloud storage, that is, If Im using it correctly. If anyone has any tips, in open to them.

Works great for my CBZ files

I was looking for a reader for CBZ files, and this is working out great. The files are organized, runs smooth, no complaints - glad to support the dev.

Falling Behind

Geoff_12889 on

Both YACReader and Panels+ have panel-to-panel reading, which is such a great feature on smaller screens. iComics is falling behind on features that these other comic reading apps have.

Great comic reader!

Best dollar spent in a longtime. The comic reader I had wasn’t supported anymore so had to find a new one. Basic but that is exactly what I want from a comic reader app.

Absolutely The Best Comic Book Reader

danielkha.com on

United States

I’ve been using this as my iPad comic book reader for over 8 years. Its absolutely the best one available. In my use-case, it does exactly what I want it to do. Import the .cbr, I sort the library by each book, open the comic book, perfect rendering, then read. Simple and clean. @Tim - My only feedback/quality of life improvement wish: Can we have the left side menu display more than 2 column comic books? Thanks for the updates and not letting the app fade into the distance. Keep up the good work!

This has to be the best

Seriously, this is the best for reading cbz, cbr, and anything else on iPhone

A Superior Comic Browser

A nice, solid piece of software for comic viewing.

Changed comic book reading for me

Knownallstar on

United States

I rarely pay for apps and even more rarely review them, but I had to for this one. This app works perfectly as it should, makes it incredibly simple and easy to organize my books into groups and just works. It just works without having to tweak anything or mess with settings. The $1 price tag was a steal in my opinion.

No progress bar when copying comics, titles stuck ‘importing’

mistrrhappy on

United States

2018 iPad Pro. No progress bar displayed when copying multiple comics from Mac to iPad via USB, and after leaving the process running for 24 hours, library displays only gray placeholders for comics, labeled ‘importing’. Some comics begin to appear after several days, but after several weeks most are still stuck as “importing”.
