## iCrosss Description
iCrosss is a unique educational application which will help you learn solid geometry in an easy and funny way.

"It is an extremely well-done interactive encyclopedia of polyhedra" - Kurt Schmucker (Parallels Senior Product Manager)

iCrosss allows you to build a cross-section of each available polyhedra by your defined plane. The plane can be defined by three points (taps) on polyhedron faces. The application supports such kinds of polyhedra as regular polyhedra (Platonic solids), Pyramids, Prisms, Anti-prisms and Archimedean solids and duals. Polyhedrons are displayed in 3D representation, which allows you to rotate it in any direction. Cool chalkboard drawing style and fonts were used for awesome look’n’feel. To build a cross-section you have to put three points on polyhedron faces in order to define a section plane.

There is several view modes that you can use for better cross-section experience: 3D mode, Épure (3 projections mode), 3D cut mode. 3D cut mode is available only when you have already built cross-section. In this mode you can choose one of two solid pieces of initial polyhedron to continue work with. Available menu for printing and sending via e-mail of the polyhedron or its section. You can access information regarding selected solid, which includes short description, number of faces, vertices, edges, web-link for more information and useful formulas. Polyhedra are organized in simple list divided by categories. Moreover, you can put polyhedrons you like into favorites list. Favorite solids are marked by a golden star and can be rapidly accessed.

A tutorial mode was designed for quick understanding. It will take you through the general application features.

To display formulas custom rendering engine was developed. It visualizes a LaTeX formula format.

## iCrosss Reviews in United States

### ***** "Yup"
Love it. I use it a lot.

I’m hoping you might add the ability to see the solid inside a sphere. To see the relationship of all the outer points touching the sphere’s extents. Thanks for considering.
-- Hop on Pop Jr., 2022-12-17

### ***** "Still great, still hoping for more!"
Lovely app for what it does and for the price. Mostly at this point a visualisation aid. Apps like these are still rare and increasingly in demand. I would be happy to pay more for more options.
-- cuencacat, 2020-11-14

### ***** "Good app"
This app is simple and effective at teaching geometry shapes. It is a must have. Good job developers.
-- Americanito, 2019-09-16

### ***** "Great for kids to visualize"
I may be weird, but I used this app with my son when he was very young to let him get familiar with complex shapes. I just showed it to him again (a few years later) and he could not put it down. I am hopeful that as he grows and eventually begins to study geometry, his exposure though this app and other things I have done will help spark his interest.

### ***** "More please."
I've learned much from this app. My only problem with it, is i want more.
-- Roaring_T_Rex, 2016-10-02

### ***** "I cross awesome"
I love dividing a circle into the many shapes.I have spent many hours trying to visualize flat circles become solids. This helps.
-- Kysassy, 2016-07-02

### ***** "It's just a teaching aid"
This is just a wire form model of many geometric shapes. It doesn't do much but it does it very well. If you are teaching or learning geometry this is a beneficial app. And if your not it's still interesting. I think it can be helpful to anybody working with math, as a visual aid it excels.
-- solong4now, 2016-02-25

### ***** "Awesome app!"
When it comes to shapes anytime you should have this app definitely. Awesome job developers.
-- Arnsoh, 2015-06-12

### *---- "Stupid"
This app is not great at all. It has no instructions and it's just really bad....
-- Gdhsgsiehdid, 2015-04-22

### ****- "Needs some common solids"
Some of the most common solids do not appear in this app like a rectangular prism, cylinder, and cone. The app is very user friendly but it would be even better if these few things were added
