Finallly, app works for my iPhone 11, updated from my iPhone 8.  Turning pages in the story takes a long time even if one is a fast reader.  Otherwise, I found the animations clever.  I was under the impression this was a “user solves mystery” game, but it is really only a retelling of the story.

These books are entertaining and well done, but unfortunately I have to give them a low rating due to the apps suspicious behavior. I have purchased all of the iclassics and found that they all immediately default to the 'on' position in cellular data and immediately use nearly a megabyte of data. Why a book would need to use any data at all is curious and that they use that much data is both odd and suspicious. I wrote to the company at the email posted on their website but received no response. I cannot recommend purchasing these books unless they stop this practice of sending whatever data they're gathering and using customers cellular data without permission.

I really liked all of the apps from these guys. I work as an ESL teacher and used them for my students to get them excited and interested in what, normally, terrified them. My daughter also greatly enjoyed them. I saw their purchase as in investment of interest. Then came the mandatory updates and they added new content that was an in-app purchase but they LOCKED what I had already paid for before! Now one app and .99 cents would be one thing...but I had gotten so many of them! I didn’t fork out nearly $5 each just to be held up for more to buy back what I’d already had! I got in touch with t hem thinking this was an error and got a person who spoke very lovely and said oh, it’s just a mistake I’ll get you the codes. NEVER HAPPENED. and who’s to say if I gave in now that I wouldn’t  have to purchase them all AGAIN at their next fund raising opportunity. Sorry. Fool me once shame on you...fool me twice, shame on me. I’ll stick with the old YouTube teacher cartoon standby and put my money into books that aren’t taken away and ransomed, thank you very much!

I don’t know what’s going on w these review responses. I never got a response until today and it popped up in notifications just now... and yet it says the response here was from the day after.. in November.... it is now AUGUST... I did indeed correspond multiple times w someone there newly in charge of getting your apps out to teachers...after weeks of promises I got no more answers and changed my reviews to reflect my disappointment. I don’t mind update fees after a huge OS update... but not buying them again. I don’t have the $$ for that.

I NEVER was interested in detectives and clues etc., but I have CHANGED my mind. I always knew of Sherlock Holmes, but this app brought the stories to life. I am now a HUGE fan. BRAVO. I highly recommend this iClassic.

Very captivating! Excellent work. I admire the devotion put into this, clearly done with care. I confess I normally myself disappointed in the quality of 2-D animation, it is so easy to get lazy with it. This, however, is something else! Well done iClassics, very well done indeed!
As a long term Sherlock Holmes fan, my heart is forever in the originals. Most recreations are over edited, abridged and altered to the point in which it is simply unbearable. The illustrations were intriguing, entertaining to interact with and discover hidden details. (loved the reference to Rathbone, by the way) Very creative, well planned and could not be more Sir Arthur Conan Doyle! 
I found myself so engrossed in this, I presented it to my younger siblings. They found it very entertaining! I look forward to becoming addicted to more of your apps! Thank you so much for making this.
