This app first lures students with their lucrative 99rs preparation course and schedules your meeting with their experts. Next they invite you in a 1:1 zoom meeting and suddenly starts taking a speaking test! Keeps asking you questions until you run out of ideas on how to ans them. Then they manipulate you in thinking your English skills are worse than a middle schooler and you cannot get a good band in ielts unless you sign up for their regular course that is almost 20k for a month. Then what does the 99rs course do? It makes you doubt your knowledge.Their practice tests are trash and full of wrong answers that would make you doubt in yourself. That’s some aggressive marketing strategy right there. Fyi, I am a doctor and I have spoken english on a daily basis since I was a kid. Yes I have less knowledge about anything outside medical field but I guess almost everyone has lesser knowledge about anything outside their own profession. They start taking a speaking test out of the blue and ask questions about environment, government, politics, economy etc. If you struggle to frame your answer due to exam pressure or uncommon topics, you’re worse than a middle schooler. Anyone would obviously struggle to answer those without proper guidance and preparation, that doesn’t give you the right to demean any aspirant. Of course guidance is needed to ace the exam but not from Leapscholar. There are plenty materials available on the internet for ielts preparation, even other free materials are better than their paid mock tests.

I downloaded this app hoping it would help me prepare for the IELTS exam, but it’s been nothing but a nightmare. The app provides incorrect answers in its practice test! I’ve come across so many wrong answers that I’ve started doubting my own skills. It’s frustrating and demotivating because you can’t trust the material. Instead of boosting my confidence, this app is making me second-guess everything i know. 
It feels like I’m wasting my time and energy on something that’s misleading. If you’re serious about your IELTS prep, do yourself a favour and stay away from this app. This app is not just a waste of money, but it’s also potentially ruining careers (ruining your chances to study in the best colleges across the world). Please dont trust them with your IELTS prep. There are much better resources out there that won’t ruin your choices. Extremely disappointed and regretful.
