## IFAW Wildlife Rescue Description
A joint initiative by the International Fund for Animal Welfare, (IFAW)and the NSW Wildlife Council (NWC), this mobile site will give you some information on who to call and what to do if you find an injured animal in NSW - whether you are out driving or walking, or at your home - until a trained helper can take over. This is for NSW only and will soon expand to other states.

IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare) is an organisation that supports and looks after the welfare of native, marine and terrestrial animals in Australia and around the world. The NSW Wildlife Council (NWC) is the peak body and is responsible for wildlife groups and rehabilitation in NSW. Their aim is to improve outcomes for sick, injured or orphaned Australian wildlife.

## IFAW Wildlife Rescue Reviews in Australia

### ***** "Such a fantastic idea!"
This app is fantastic! Being able to contact the closest vet or wildlife rescue group is so helpful!
Good work team on developing this useful app!
-- NP💛, 2023-09-14

### ***** "Fantastic App!"
Great App to get help for injured wildlife. Such a fantastic idea!
-- LJC_1984_Oz, 2022-09-08

### *---- "Sunday afternoon - Injured Wallaby needs help"
This App is useless - all vets on the list are closed - what about listing wildlife care organisations? They have a 24 hour hotline and volunteers ready to help.
To the developers of this app: do your job and make it in a way that people can call rescuers around the clock - and animals get instant help
-- Scheuter46, 2022-07-24

### ***** "Glad I had the app tonight"
I was driving home late and stopped for an injured echidna on the road. So great I already had the app and could easily find who to call. I picked up the echidna - carefully - and took it to the Wildcare contact I was given over the phone. Everyone living in the country should have this app
-- CloveR xoxo, 2020-08-20

### ***-- "Need put SMS number for deaf"
You should put sms number for deaf people. But very difficult to contact this phone.

But this app is good but need bit change for sms etc for deaf
-- Faith believe, 2020-05-30

### *---- "Bruce"
Waste of time. Has not been updated, despite changes ion phone numbers over last 2 years. Groups listed often do not answer phone anyway.
-- sdlk;hncs, 2016-08-03

### ***** "Brilliant app"
This app finds the nearest rescue group in NSW using your phones GPS automatically. Really easy to use. Covers all rescue groups in all areas. Fantastic app well built. Developed by the globally respected International Fund for Animal Welfare. Best app out there for wildlife rescue.
-- euphemus2, 2014-06-27

### ***** "What a great idea for our natives!"
So many people don't know who to call when they need emergency care for our animals - this is exactly what we need! Spread the word people!!
-- Kickynim, 2013-12-05

### ****- "Great app!!"

-- Kayc16, 2013-12-01

All I get is a white screen or loading symbol
