Can’t make account. Invalid algorithm when I make my nickname.

Subject line. Can’t make account, can’t use app. Works fine on PC. Completely bricked on IOS

It’s the Ad placement

First let me say this ads really don’t bother me it’s the placement. I literally don’t go into the app often because the accidental press of an ad while scrolling happens to much to make me think it’s on purpose. Also some ads autoplay at times where it’ll take over the app when scrolling.

Great just one problem

I love the ign app for all the new and retro gaming news but after I start scrolling for a while the app's frame rate will noticeably drop and if I leave the app my phone will become unresponsive and I have to do a manual restart since I can't access the power

Changed for the worse

The most recent update is a downgrade in user friendliness. Every time you open the app, a pop up immediately asks you if you want to login. also, the first thing on the newsfeed every single time it is asking you to poll on various video games. This sounds like a pleasant idea, but it’s pretty annoying because you have to scroll down a few polls before you can even get to the news feed.

App has too many bugs

Whenever I try to comment it says sign in successful then it doesn’t allow me to comment it just loops over and over with sign in successful needs to be fixed

Love IGN. App is unusable.

I cannot sign into my ign+ account because SSO is improperly integrated. My plus account is attached to my google account via sso. Please fix this.

It could be better

Sigh i wish there was guides like on the website it wouldn’t be that hard to implement

No Sound

Downloaded the app to watch a video on my iPhone, and the sound doesn’t work. Tried to see if I was doing something wrong, but their video player doesn’t have any mute/unmute function. How can IGN release an app that is broken?

Malware in ads

IGN should be ashamed of themselves for these kinds of ads and Apple should remove the app until it’s fixed. For those considering downloading this app - avoid it. It contains malware.

Cannot login

CAPTCHA does not pop up. Cannot login. Ah who cares, no one will read this and fix it. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
