App For Kids

App for toddlers 1-3 years old

Description

Welcome to App For Kids - A fun and educational app for children between the ages 0-4 years! Through sight and sound there are 110 different words and items to get acquainted with. When you click on an animal, a vehicle or another item a real-life photograph of that item pops up and its special sound is played, for example a dog barking. A voice will reveal the name of the item displayed.
Each item has not one but 4 real pictures and sounds to keep the kids interested. In total there are over 400 pictures and sounds. The high-definition pictures are bright and lively, and the audio sound quality is great.
In Guess the Item, 4 different images are shown and a voice will ask the child to locate a certain item, for example "Where is the airplane?". If the child taps the correct item, it gets animated and its special sound is played.
The images are divided into 8 different categories:
- Animals
- Vehicles
- Music
- Fruit
- Clothing
- Colors
- At Home
- Guess The Item
The interface is well defined, interactive and excellently designed to suit small children - all in English.

App For Kids Reviews

Not bad, could use some improvement

Overall, this is a really good app and it was mostly worth the $3 I paid for the full version. A couple of gripes: I wish the sound effects came after the name of the item, because sometimes the sound effects are really long and unnecessary. I’m trying to teach my toddler words, and he gets impatient during long sound effects. My other gripe is with some of the sound effects themselves. I understand having sound effects for animals and other things that make noise, but the sound effects effects for fruit are just gross. I don’t need to hear someone loudly slurping and chewing every time my son clicks on a fruit. Other than that, it’s actually a really great app, and I recommend it. If the developer got rid of the disgusting fruit-eating sounds and put the words before the sounds, I’d amend my review to be 5 stars for sure!

My son (1.5 years) and I both love this app. He finds it interesting and I like that he's learning so much. I wish there were more flash cards though, even as a purchase (e.g. Vegetables, plants, etc.). We've had this app about 5 months now and my son is starting to lose interest because the challenge is disappearing and there's nothing new being added. Would give 5 stars if it were possible to update will new content.

It seems like a scam

We got the free version and my daughter liked it. I wanted to buy the full version but I could only find a way to buy it in game. As a result, with only in game available for full purchase the app skirts the rules and avoids family sharing. If I want the app on my wife's iPad then I have to buy it again. Apple support was useless in helping to date.

tl;DR: By the age of two children are supposed to know approximately 25 simple words (mama, papa, hi, bye, etc.). Thanks to this app my child knows SO MUCH MORE! User Interface: Very simple! Perfect for kids! Divided into simple categories: animals, clothes, colors, etc. Experience: Cards have a cute illustration on them and once tapped a real world picture of the object is shown. Overall: my daughter loves it. I love how much she's learned. I downloaded all their apps and they are all equally knowledge profitable. Thank you so much to this company! Definitely recommending this app
