Let the application be controlled from outside the house. Add notifications for the battery level in the remote controls (I always have to go into the settings to check if any battery indicates low). Activate notification for offline devices or gateway. Add to the power-on setting and the sockets. ... Even if the gateway is from the old generation, do something about the interface as well, it is too left behind.
Update ul nu remediaza problema
The app is ok. I would like a feature to see in the app. Is that lights continuously change color without manual interaction. Also have different patterns already setup.
Best app to make your home smart
On a functional level it is otter garbage. I lost 3 pounds in weight just wandering around my lights to set set set set set set them. I am tired of how many times I had to reset the lights. I ran out of candles and gods to pray to for the lights not to go bust again. Buy something else. This is a waste of money, time and expectations. Just so bad it is not even funny.
Produsele sunt grozave, mi-aș fi dorit sa pot accesa din extern gateway-ul sa pot porni aparatele, mai ales ca acesta se conectează și la lumini, boxe. Am vrut inițial sa îmi iau și Phillips hue, m-am bucurat sa văd ca și IKEA poate sa facă același lucru, însa nu exista încă becuri in culori. Probabil doar o problema de actualizare Soft și timp pana apar noile becuri, pana atunci 4*.
Even though this application is clunky and cumbersome compared to the others on the market, including apples on HomeKit, I enjoyed all the functionalities until last month. For about four or five weeks the gateway keeps disconnecting from everything, it cannot be controlled by the Ikea app or by Apple‘s HomeKit and you simply have to reset your gateway so that you can gain access to your lights. There hasn’t been any software update for the application nor the gateway, or firmware updates for the device is connected to it. It feels like Ikea did something completely wrong in the past update and now they are not able to fix it or they just don’t care.
Any power drop makes everything die
The app has a Bug, it can’t connect with Alexa . Ive tried more than 20 times to do it, it says: “the gateway is busy,please try again” It also won’t work with Google Assistant…same message Please do something
When can we expect an apple watch app for the shortcuts?! All in all very responsive app for me and works every time.
