Smart products like lighting, speakers, blinds and air purifiers can make a lovely addition to your everyday life. When you improve the IQ of your home, life itself runs a bit smoother.
The magic happens when you combine two or more smart products from IKEA, tell them what to do in the app and save it as a 'Scene'.
A great scene is one you will use often. Think about waking up and going to bed, cooking and eating, date night and family time, or leaving and coming home. All everyday moments when we can support you with the best lighting, sound that suits your mood, and cleaner air.
When it comes to control, we think of everyone, from young to old and even visitors. So while the app gives you total control to customise your smart home, our range of remotes make it easy for everyone to live with and use a smart home.
In control
• You can control products individually or in groups. You can turn whole rooms on and off or the whole home, all at once.
• Dim and change light colours, adjust blinds, speaker volume, and much more.
• Set the scenes you need and trigger them with schedules, a shortcut button or use the app.
Easy to use
• The home screen gives a fast overview of your whole home. Quickly control products, access rooms, or start/stop scenes. This is also where you add new products, rooms, and scenes.
Organised and personal
• Organising your smart products in rooms gives fast access to the products you want to control.
• Personalise the app with your choice of icons, names and colours for rooms and products
• Create personal scenes, for example your own combination of cosy lighting and your favourite music.

Room for improvement
Many bugs fixed which - and I don’t mean to be ungrateful - was about time. I still have several issues, though. Very often, the app will show lights being off when they’re on or vice versa. This is especially when a time scene has turned them on or off, or when my wife has done so. Similarly, the app will show high light intensity when it’s low, or vice versa. Other times, it won’t let me change the white colour tones until I flick the light off and back on. One new LED suddenly appears permanently offline although the remote works just fine. Dirigera hub and all firmware updated. Latest iOS on iPhones (15 Pro and 14 Pro). Roughly 30 assorted LEDs, light strips with drivers and 5 speakers, all from IKEA - no other/compatible devices involved.
More advanced features please
I am missing to do code, and enabling, disabling of sensors in multiple time intervals. And/or operator for start/stop events. Like turn on at 6:30am, off at sun rise OR after x minutes/hours. If sunrise happen before 6:30 the event will not end in the current options.
Meget bedre end v. 1
Dirigera hub og Home Smart app er et kæmpe fremskridt i forhold til Trådfri gateway og den gamle app. Alt - som ALT - er bedre! Nu er det nærmest en leg at sætte det hele op. Appen finder og forbinder enheder sikkert og hurtigt, hvilket var en vanvittigt frustrerende proces før. Jeg havde f.eks. mistet forbindelsen til flere Trådfri pærer, og det var umuligt at nulstille dem, så jeg troede de var tabt. Den nye app og hub fandt og forbandt til dem i første hug, på få sekunder! Det er også genialt at man nu får valget om f.eks. 3 pærer sidder i samme lampe, og dermed skal styres sammen og af samme fjernbetjening. Eneste lille problem er at appen efter lang inaktiv tid kan miste forbindelsen til Dirigera hub’en. Så må man lukke appen og åbne igen. To sekunder senere er den på igen. Om det er appen, hub eller iPhonens skyld kan jeg ikke sige.
Kommer fjernstyring til at virke?
Tak for opdatering. Er der planer om at få fjernstyring til at fungere? Det virker lidt tåbeligt at have et menupunkt der - i flere måneder - ikke har fungeret. 24-01-19 Heller ikke efter denne opdatering fungerer Fjernstyring. Beskeden er den samme som før: “Hov! Der opstod en fejl Der opstod en fejl. Prøv igen.” Det har jeg nu gjort i flere måneder med samme resultat.
Hvor bliver man bare så træt
Hvor bliver man bare så træt af alle de opdateringer, der tilsyndeladende ikke gør andet ind, at tingende IKKE VIRKER! Uden man skal springe rundt som en anden tosse uden hoved!!…
Besværligt at udskifte 1 spot
Det er meget ærgerligt at man ikke kan tilføje 1 nyt spot af gangen via remoten. Jeg skulle skifte 1 spot i mit køkken hvor 10 spots er forbundet til sammen kontakt. Det betyder at det er meget besværligt da man bliver nød til at tilføje 10 spots istedet for 1. Den gamle app var bedre til det.
