## IKEA Home smart Description
With IKEA Home smart app and DIRIGERA hub, it's easy to create smarter everyday moments with lighting, speakers, blinds and air quality products. 

Picture yourself waking up as your smart lights gently rise. Your favourite songs play on the speakers and you still haven't gotten out of bed. How lovely, right? Smart products like lighting, speakers, blinds and air purifiers can make a lovely addition to your everyday life. When you improve the IQ of your home, life itself runs a bit smoother.

The magic happens when you combine two or more smart products from IKEA, tell them what to do in the app and save it as a 'Scene'.

A great scene is one you will use often. Think about waking up and going to bed, cooking and eating, date night and family time, or leaving and coming home. All everyday moments when we can support you with the best lighting, sound that suits your mood, and cleaner air.

When it comes to control, we think of everyone, from young to old and even visitors. So while the app gives you total control to customise your smart home, our range of remotes make it easy for everyone to live with and use a smart home.

In control 
• You can control products individually or in groups. You can turn whole rooms on and off or the whole home, all at once.
• Dim and change light colours, adjust blinds, speaker volume, and much more.
• Set the scenes you need and trigger them with schedules, a shortcut button or use the app.

Easy to use
• The home screen gives a fast overview of your whole home. Quickly control products, access rooms, or start/stop scenes. This is also where you add new products, rooms, and scenes. 

Organised and personal
• Organising your smart products in rooms gives fast access to the products you want to control.

Jeg har en 5th gen iPad pro, og en iPhone 15, min kæreste har en Huawei p20 der er 5 år gammel. Vi er nu på Dirigera nummer to. Fordi den vil på INGEN måder forbinde til hverken min iPhone eller iPad. Den vil til gengæld gerne forbinde til min kærestes olding af en brevdue-sender. Han bor her ikke engang… Jeg har tidligere haft Trådfri, som jeg var early adopter på, men synes selv at jeg skulle have det nye, så jeg kunne få Parasoll. Jeg har prøvet at snakke med jeres support som ikke var særlig hjælpsomme 😢 Jeg har prøvet at resette, genstarte, og nulstille alt. Men ak nej 😩 

Hjæææææææææææælp.

Edit: jeg bruger ios 18,1 og jeg resettet router og Dirigere og det er nu to apple telefoner der ikke kan komme på.

Jeg har prøvet de fleste smart produkter, men synes faktisk bedst om ikea, da det virker både i Apple hjem og i Google Home, uden at man skal betale det dublede. Dog kunne jeg godt bruge nogle ekstra funktioner, som f.eks. En notifikation efter 5-10 min når vindues sensor stadig ikke er lukket.. men all in all, er IKEAs noget af det bedste til en okay pris.

It is marketed as an upgrade to Tradfri hub/Home Smart 1 app. I miss core functions.

Swiches/dimmers does not work without the hub. On Tradfri the switches/dimmers works indepently of the hub. Very good back up function.
Timer functions is reduced and made complicated. And the wake up timer is gone! I use the wake up timer every morning. Light turns on gradualy to a preset level during 30 minuttes. Rise and shine, wake up timer introduced march 2024.
I went back to Tradfri and returned the Dirigera hub.
Fortunately IKEAs return policy is very large. Full refund no problem, no questions asked. No forms to fill out.  IKEA staff are very friendly and well trained.

Når man trykker på en scene om at gardinerne skal køre ned, burde det være sådan, at de står til at køre op, næste gang.

Many bugs fixed which - and I don’t mean to be ungrateful - was about time. 

I still have several issues, though. Very often, the app will show lights being off when they’re on or vice versa. This is especially when a time scene has turned them on or off, or when my wife has done so. 

Similarly, the app will show high light intensity when it’s low, or vice versa. Other times, it won’t let me change the white colour tones until I flick the light off and back on. One new LED suddenly appears permanently offline although the remote works just fine.

Dirigera hub and all firmware updated. Latest iOS on iPhones (15 Pro and 14 Pro). Roughly 30 assorted LEDs, light strips with drivers and 5 speakers, all from IKEA - no other/compatible devices involved.

I am missing to do code, and enabling, disabling of sensors in multiple time intervals.

And/or operator for start/stop events. 
Like turn on at 6:30am, off at sun rise OR after x minutes/hours. If sunrise happen before 6:30 the event will not end in the current options.

Dirigera hub og Home Smart app er et kæmpe fremskridt i forhold til Trådfri gateway og den gamle app. 
Alt - som ALT - er bedre! Nu er det nærmest en leg at sætte det hele op. 
Appen finder og forbinder enheder sikkert og hurtigt, hvilket var en vanvittigt frustrerende proces før. 

Jeg havde f.eks. mistet forbindelsen til flere Trådfri pærer, og det var umuligt at nulstille dem, så jeg troede de var tabt. Den nye app og hub fandt og forbandt til dem i første hug, på få sekunder!

Det er også genialt at man nu får valget om f.eks. 3 pærer sidder i samme lampe, og dermed skal styres sammen og af samme fjernbetjening. 

Eneste lille problem er at appen efter lang inaktiv tid kan miste forbindelsen til Dirigera hub’en. Så må man lukke appen og åbne igen. To sekunder senere er den på igen. Om det er appen, hub eller iPhonens skyld kan jeg ikke sige.

Tak for opdatering. Er der planer om at få fjernstyring til at fungere? Det virker lidt tåbeligt at have et menupunkt der - i flere måneder - ikke har fungeret.
24-01-19 Heller ikke efter denne opdatering fungerer Fjernstyring. Beskeden er den samme som før: 
“Hov! Der opstod en fejl
Der opstod en fejl. Prøv igen.”
Det har jeg nu gjort i flere måneder med samme resultat.

Det er meget ærgerligt at man ikke kan tilføje 1 nyt spot af gangen via remoten. Jeg skulle skifte 1 spot i mit køkken hvor 10 spots er forbundet til sammen kontakt. Det betyder at det er meget besværligt da man bliver nød til at tilføje 10 spots istedet for 1. Den gamle app var bedre til det.

Det er utroligt ringe, at man ikke længere kan parre pærer og andet ved hjælp af fjernbetjening. Jeg har op til flere enheder som er svært tilgængelige og derfor ikke mulige at parre med den nye hub.
