## iKnowMed Description
The iKnowMed app from Ontada is the companion to iKnowMed Generation 2 electronic health record (EHR) and the perfect extension for providers looking to stay connected and move beyond the desktop for key care team interactions. Connecting seamlessly with iKnowMed Generation 2 to provide intuitive, secure cloud-based navigation and access to patient charts and appointments, this initial release allows users to freely and conveniently access essential patient information at exactly the point of need – even when away from the office.
 
iKnowMed complements the full desktop EHR, allowing quick access to:
 
- Review lab results
- View the Visit List
- Access the Patient Chart
- Create context-enabled messages from inside the Work List
- Upload new attachments
- Access care team and patient contacts without leaving the app
- Send and receive messages with other providers while referencing related patient information
 
In addition to accessing iKnowMed on your iPhone or iPad, users will also enjoy the convenience of accessing the Visit List and Patient Demographics, sending and receiving messages, and viewing upcoming appointments using watch face Complications on Apple Watch.
 
Experience close integration with your favorite features across Apple platforms, such as: 
- Touch ID and Face ID 
- Widgets display of the Visit List and Messages on your device’s Home Screen
