I love I love pdf

OCR was suggested as an option when I uploaded a pdf scanned image of a credit card statement, so I purchased a subscription to get the pdf converted to excel/csv. format so I could import the data into the accounting system. The result was not usable as the data was scattered everywhere, beyond manual repair. I tried to cancel, but was told there are no refunds! Buyer beware.

Once the perfect app for managing all your PDFs with a variety of tools, it's now just another app gutted by a sheer greed for profit from developers and companies. You can't do anything now without forking over a hefty fee far from trivial. I've deleted it from all my devices.

Paid for the subscription and there isn't even an option to edit/fill out the PDFs. What a scam

I just love it.

Compressing PDFs and adding OCR'd text to them were the primary features I was looking for. I bought a month subscription to unlock all of the capabilities. It produces absolutely excellent results. HOWEVER, it is 27x SLOWER than using Adobe's admitedly expensive Adobe Acrobat Pro, but it is also anywhere from 26 to 51 times slower than using other open source and paid PDF utilities. I'm not sure what it is doing, but it is not doing it fast. So brew a huge pot of coffee and make yourself a hearty snack.
