The app keeps telling me I need a new password. When I reset the password with OTP I am told I am not registered. What is going in with this company? If the kiosks aren’t offline then the app does not work. We are just trying to be responsible humans and the tech is filing us. Get sorted.

Can’t even create a profile since they never send OTP. Judging by there being no response from them here, I think this is dead in the water.

Used this for the first time. Deposited two bags of goods ! I’m back to do another bag and notice my credit balance and goods recycled on 0! So what’s going on here? Such an incredible idea, brilliant incentive but if issues with “rewards” then what’s the point? I would rather then give the goods to the street recyclers which is what we did before.

I used to love this app during the initial roll out of machines in the Durban area. However if late the app doesn’t work properly. My deposits are a constant source of headaches. I go driving around from 1 rvm to the next only to discover they are all almost always offline or out of service and yet the app shows online. On my last visit I deposited some items and the machine refused to accept my cell number. Once the screen cleared I started doing another deposit which went through yet my first deposit to date does not reflect. Customer service is sorely lacking. We’re not updated often on social networks; messages are largely ignored or not acknowledged. It’s very rare for messages to be answered. Please fix your issues and up your game. I would hate to start throwing out my recyclables into the garbage

Great idea. Have been collecting for 2 months. Have only deposited twice but driven to the deposit machine 6 times because either the machine is full or not working or not communicating or something. Reporting an out of order machine is glitchy. I suspect I have created more CO2 trying to recycle than I would have saved by recycling. I’m not keen on increasing my carbon footprint to recycle. It’s almost there, just fails at implementation. Will use recycling bins rather.

Great app! 2 Additional Features: - Enable users to add products to the “products” tab for review. Allowing a broader product database. - Add pictures under the “product” tab of most recycled items. The more users see certain items, the more mindful they become.

Was super excited about joining this app. The location setting does not pick up my JHB address and ended up deleting it

Have to sign up to check locations… and signup fails silently (without any error message) with everything filled in and checked?! …even read the T&Cs lol

I think this is a fantastic idea! My only problem is that there isn’t an option to cash out/withdraw the money in the wallet. We only have 5 options for how to spend that money. Many people who recycle don’t own cars so they won’t spend money at Shell. Some people can’t afford to shop at Spar - it’s too expensive! Others aren’t interested in investing or don’t know anything about that. The only thing that makes sense is the airtime. Everything else, we are being forced/told how to spend our money. Some people can feed their families with that money. Others can pay for school. Others can use that for taxi fare. Make “cash out/withdraw” an option.

Would love to see some machines set up in the Eastern Cape area, lovely idea and would love to take part.
