About module activation.
IMAIOS e-Anatomy has three methods of activation for our different users:
1) IMAIOS members who have access provided by their university or library, may use their user account to enjoy full access to all modules. However, an internet connection is periodically required to verify their user account.
2) Users who have purchased the modules in previous versions of IMAIOS e-Anatomy can use the "Restore" feature to activate all previously purchased content. You will not be charged again and the content available by the time of your purchase is permanently accessible offline.
3) New users are invited to subscribe to e-Anatomy. All modules and features will be active for a limited period of time. Subscriptions will be automatically renewed so that they can enjoy continuous access to e-Anatomy.

Additional auto-renewable subscription Information:
- Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Subscriptions and auto-renewals may be turned off by going to the user's account settings on the App Store after purchase.
- No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.
- Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase
- Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of renewal.

Just updated today and it’s not opening anymore

Please advise

Slow to load

The clickable links in the app have recently been very slow to load (failing to load at all some of the time). I have also been automatically logged off now and again despite paying the subscription.

Buggy subscription system

Firstly, it must be stated that the subscription model and its pricing are well justified for this niche product given the quality of its contents and regular improvements. It has no serious competition in the Appstore as far as I’m aware. But, unfortunately and despite repeated complaints, the subscription system keeps malfunctioning, preventing access to premium content. And it has a knack for choosing the most inappropriate time to fail. 3 stars because of the 5-star contents, but I cannot recommend this app with its current buggy subscription system.

I've invested in all the modules which means I have access to all the imaging anatomy 24hours a day anywhere in the world. Just brilliant.

Easy to use. Essential tool

A bit misleading........

I can't go so far as to say it's a con (as it's free), but to use the app as intended you have to purchase the systems to unlock them! 'Offers in app purchases'? I think you'll find 'demands' a more appropriate word. Don't get me wrong, I didn't expect it to be entirely free, but a trial would have nice! Aaaaaaannnnd delete!!!

Good, but needs to be better.

A few anatomical entities are labelled incorrectly. Slices aren't labelled, which makes it difficult to have a look around and then go back to where you were. When you search for something which attracts many results and then select one to view, you can't go back to the list of results - you have to enter your search all over again. NO FACILITY FOR QUIZ OR SELF-TESTING! The diagram labels use little circles on their ends which obscure what you're looking at. ARROW HEADS WOULD BE FAR BETTER. When I move along one slice, I spend a lot of time trying to work out what's new on the slice I've I've just moved to. This is significant a waste of valuable time. New (since previous slice) structures should be made obvious, e.g. By double highlighting or underlining them..

I was wondering why it was free...

Turns out that out of dozens of areas, you only get 2 to explore with any depth. The others you have to buy. Still, if you want to know about brain, cranial and spinal anatomy, you're in luck. It takes 30 minutes to download and "weighs" 400mb.

Expensive

I think this app is great but compared to the price it's a joke. The developers would make a lot more money if they sold it for a 3rd of the price as their sales would rocket, as £150 is too much for the full app.
