## IMaps Description
iMaps+ brings Google maps, directions and street view to your iOS device.

Features:

- Search by address or textual query (eg 'London, UK' or 'Restaurants in New York'). In addition, you can 'radar search' the visible map area to locate places of interest such as restaurants, pubs, ATMs and more.
- Just tap on any of the places of interest on the map for more details, or to access street view.
- Street view can also be accessed from a dropped pin, search result or bookmarked location. Alternatively, drag the peg-man from the top left of the screen as on Google Maps on a desktop.
- Book hotels via our partnerships with Booking.com, Hotels.com and Agoda.com
- Map details are cached once viewed, browse them again even when you don't have an internet connection - perfect for travelling!
- Get step by step driving, cycling, walking and public transport directions. Choose to avoid highways or tolls and select from a number of alternative routes. For public transport, you also have the option of setting an arrival/departure time.
- Set up notifications to fire when you arrive at a specific location.
- Record journeys such as a hike, bike ride or road trip, even while the app is in the background. Recorded routes are saved and can be recalled at any time. (IAP)
- Swipe up and down with two fingers to tilt the map and access 3D views in main cities around the world.
- Map overlays including live traffic, public transport lines and indoor maps.
- Use addresses from your iPhone contacts for search and directions.
- Press and hold to drop a pin anywhere on the map.
- Bookmark important locations for quick access.
- Directions and search in English, French, Portuguese, Italian, German, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Russian, Korean, Hindi and more.

Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscriptions may be managed, and auto-renewal may be turned off, from iMaps+ settings or the Apple Settings app. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited if you change your subscription term.

Directions, street view and live traffic details are only available in certain geographical regions.

## IMaps Reviews in United States

### **--- "Not a good app"
I’ve had this app for several years. About three years ago the search bar field went black and you can’t see where you’re typing. I sent several messages to the developer, but no response.. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall sense, but it will not work on my iPad at all anymore and you still can’t see what you were typing in the search bar. No support whatsoever if these problems were fixed it would be an awesome app and it has been an past. Don’t waste your money on this application until someone wakes up and fixes the glitches.
-- Imimdrimcricnudnx, 2026-07-08

### *---- "App crashes"
I have used this app for years and loved it. For a few weeks now when I open it on my iPhone it instantly crashes. I’ve tried everything and nothing helps. It’s useless!
-- Gliding adds, 2025-12-10

### *---- "Crashes even on the latest iphones"
Won’t even start up. Crashes immediately.
-- dagman1, 2025-09-20

### *---- "Crash crash crash"
Crash crash, crash,
-- nikcr69, 2025-06-26

### *---- "I can not get it to stay on."
It will not stay on and I can’t seem to report the problem. When I try it sends me to facebook which I don’t have . Would like to purchase but it won’t let me
-- Cher1914p, 2025-02-19

### **--- "Search area blackened out when on hybrid view."
Since installing the newest update (#17) on my iPad I am unable to search for more than one location while in hybrid mode without completely closing the app and reopening it. If this problem persists I won't re-subscribe. The app in this new form is not worth paying a yearly fee for.
-- Hayhayyouyougetoutamytree, 2023-11-29

### *---- "Have to pay for it to work"
Really? Who’s gonna pay for an app rated under 4?
-- AnjaOtto, 2023-08-25

### *---- "Pay again?"
I paid for this, it should be grandfathered in. They shouldn’t charge subscription after I purchased the whole freaking app. And yes, I tried restoring but couldn’t.
-- JaybeeohJaybee, 2023-03-23

### *---- "State borders"
Still can’t see state borders.
-- 659314, 2022-12-07

### *---- "No very good"
I needed to use this for a project but when I used it the place I needed was not updated! This would have caused a problem! PLEASE UPDATE THE MAP! In other words I would not really get it. Thank you for your time :).
P.S IT MAKES YOU PAY TI SEARCH F OR WHAT YOU WANT
-- lele0625, 2022-11-03

### ***** "Tandi Judy —SERVPRO"
Oh my gosh I could not believe Tandi came out the day I called.

Tandi is awesome and has the knowledge to get problems taken care.

### *---- "UNSAFE"
This app is not safe because there’s random like people on there that you can message and you can tell me your location and they might try to drive to it and they might find you and kill you I do not recommend this app it is truly unsafe!!!!!
-- Chloe cat qeen, 2022-03-10

### **--- "Still haven't fixed the biggest problems"
The ongoing problem is that the outlines of states, countries, and provinces are so faint that it's almost impossible to make them out. I also notice that in hybrid view they don't show up at all now. Nice going with that feature; it looks exactly like the satellite view now. It's also impossible to tell whether you're looking at the border of a country or a province, because the lines are all drawn the same way in hybrid mode. Speaking of hybrid mode, why do I have to select it every single time I open the app? It never remembers the mode. Ever. Finally, the same problem with the shrinking text exists in this latest version: If you zoom in to better see road numbers, for example, the number shrinks down again so you're no farther ahead. If the image gets bigger when you expand it, the text should get bigger when you expand it. Otherwise the app should come with a magnifying glass. Why the developers don't spend some time on usability issues like this I don't know, but these updates don't deserve all the self-congratulatory fanfare while these problems persist.
-- Fager132, 2022-03-02

### *---- "Useless without purchase"
Deceptively “free”. You can’t search without purchase. This is part of the “full functionality” you have to pay for.
-- jwidaho, 2021-12-23

### *---- "Horrible app"
This is not what it’s cracked up to be at all
-- The True MeMe, 2021-11-08

### *---- "FRAUD"
I made the mistake of downloading this when trying to find my Apple Maps. I clicked the option for 1 week free trail that turned into $4.99 a month after that. They immediately took $17.07 out of my account. I cancelled & informed them that this was an accidental purchase. 2 weeks later they took another $17.07 out of my account. When I went to my subscriptions to make sure to get it right this time, I see that I had the $4.99 subscription. WHY ARE YOU TAKING $17.07 out of my account for a service I accidentally purchased & NEVER once used?!
Not to mention.. I never used it even once because trying to get directions to a place in Texas was impossible because it kept coming up with an address in AUSTRIA!!
-- 2PeachyKeen4u, 2021-09-01

### ***** "Great Map!"
Gets to where I want to and that counts!
-- MtKath, 2021-08-02

### ***** "I was just go around all the world"
This app tells us a lot about where we’re going and when you press the arrows it
-- Parrish mom, 2021-05-31

### ***-- "Average app"
This app is like the istreets for google street view but the problem for this one is that does good give you 4 layouts but you have to pay for directions but you can do different things with app so great for that but you have to pay to do directions like the other app so they have one better future and map app shows more than google maps so it is 3 stars average app
