## IMAX Reviews in United States

### *---- "App is terrible"
I just want to see what movies are showing where and when. Half the locations I pick show nothing. The app is clunky and very bad UX. Try again imax.
-- panderson9149, 2025-11-06

### *---- "Horrible"
This app is horrible u can’t even search on it all u can do is scroll 4-9 movies or shows and that’s it
-- ELITENOTICE, 2025-10-16

### *---- "Can’t Even Sign Up"
The app is not ready for general use.
-- Wizinit, 2025-07-23

### *---- "Useless App — do not bother with it"
The first major flaw is that when creating an account, it REJECTS highly secure passwords suggested by keychain, forcing you to make up one yourself.

Second, it forces you to pick ONLY ONE theater in your area. There are three in my area, and having to make each one my “current” one in order to see anything about it is ridiculous.

Third, it doesn’t even show what’s currently playing at ANY theater.

My guess is that this app has been completely abandoned by the vendor, but not removed from the App Store.
-- dw5s, 2025-06-22

### **--- "More"
Please give us more movies. We will pay
-- jsporn24, 2025-04-23

### *---- "No recent content"
This app on Apple Vision Pro has so much potential, and yet none of the latest iMax content is being published here. Just watched Blue Giants in person. Why isn’t it here??? Upcoming dolphin movie - guess I’ll have to go see it in theaters. AVP is the perfect hardware to publish these titles at home.
-- Ramman345, 2025-02-16

### ***** "Kanapan"
The iMax app on Apple Vision Pro is amazing! It allows me to experience movies in the 1.43:1 aspect ratio, which is no longer available in my country. This is something I’ve truly missed from traditional iMax theaters.

However, I’d love to see more content added. For example, offering legendary movies like Interstellar for purchase—I’d gladly buy them—or regularly updating new movie trailers.

If these improvements are made, this app would be perfect for movie enthusiasts like me!
-- Kanapan93, 2025-01-04

### ***** "Great updates"
Really helpful. Allows you to choose a local theatre, find out when tickets are going on sale so you don’t miss big releases, and click directly to the site where you can buy those tickets.
-- filmlover1570, 2024-12-04

### *---- "cant log in since downloading"
cant log in since download of app
-- Heavyondagrind, 2024-11-13

### ****- "More content please!"
I’d be interested in learning why there is such little content. As some have mentioned, this is really just a few documentaries and trailers. For those of us who bought this device, content is a huge issue.
