I’ve been using the app for years and today it decided to delete all the info I had saved as well as my account.

I use this app all the time when streaming and I see an actor I recognize but can’t recall where from. It’s incredibly handy for quickly looking up actors and their filmographies. One feature I’d love to see added is a “movies/shows I’ve already watched” list. It would be a great way to keep track of what I’ve seen and serve as a basic film log.

This app periodically interrupts me to ask me to rate it on the App Store. So here’s your rating and review. Hope you enjoy it.

When did they add the ads? I’m pretty sure I’ve been using IMDb for 20 or so years and have never seen or perhaps noticed and ad until today. They take up half the page on my iPhone. Terrible…

i prefer imdb over letterbxd because of the option to have the movie titles in the original languages, and the fact that your sorting filter on your list is permanent until you change it yourself!
