It’s really disappointing that that standard these days is to bombard you with adds.

It used to be that if you clicked on a film and swiped on the photos at the top it would show you stills from the movie you were on but now it will go straight to a trailer/advert that’s unstoppable. What’s worse is that you can’t even scroll away from it. Instead it just follows you where ever you go around the page blocking the content you’re actually trying to see. 

It’s sad to see really that apps will do whatever they can to lock you in to seeing adverts over the content you came for.

Don’t get me wrong this is an amazing app and is permanently on my Home Screen but there is one thing that really annoys me about it 

When you launch the app and click in the search bar, there is a frustratingly looooooong delay before anything happens. I used to think it was just my older iPhone but nope, it’s still there on a new iPhone 16 Pro - so it’s doing something there that slows down the experience and frustrates me.. can this be profiled and fixed, it must be something very simple?
