Still the best

Always a southsider on

I love this app and use it to get context to the daily readings. No wifi is required and it integrates with iMissal. It still works well, no annoying ad popups or someone trying to sell me something.

Functional issues

bayoudoc on

When viewing the tax on the top line is cut in half or not visible on some pages. This makes the app not very pleasant to use. I tried different settings, different fonts, different line spacing, but the top line seems to always be cut off by a header at the top of the page. also, the help button does not work. It brings you to a page that is not functioning on the web and therefore I could not contact the developer through the app. This was my initial impression and I have a lot more to explore but this point given the functional issues I’m not sure that I will continue to use the app.

Works on iPad not on iPhone

Tom Tanous on

Works fine for iPad. Can’t change Eucharistic Prayer. Stays stuck on number 2. Would not recommend if buying strictly for iPhone. Needs to be repaired but does not appear programmers are updating the application any longer.

Crashing

cptully on

I use this app almost every Sunday, but today is is crashing on me. Does it need to be updated for iOS 13?

Getting back to last passage written?

The QZMSTR on

Hello, I finally got around to getting this wonderful app; I ver much like how it is integrated with iMissal. The one glaring issue I have discovered is that, say I am reading the Preface to the NT and I come to a linked passage in Scripture—I click on it and it takes me to that passage, of course, but I cannot see any way to return to the precise place I was just before? Maybe you are all working to address that? Other than that, this is great! Thanks!

Love this app!

This is the best Bible app available! I love the integration with iMissal. Wish it had reading plans available, and I would add page turn animation as a "wish list" item, but it is overall a great app. Cancha make more faith based apps like this (e.g. Catechism)?

Not for iOS 8.3

pearlperson on

Loved it until I upgraded- now I can't get even get an answer. Don't buy until you do.

Update for iOS 8.3 needed

Smazme on

Need update for iOS 8.3. Sliders are now invisible, and you can no longer chance the font size.

no syncing feature; difficult page swiping

Mark G. on

Unless I'm missing it, there's no sync feature. So if you bookmark, highlight, or write "margin notes" it's not going to carry over to your other device. And this seems to be the one issue they should jump on and correct. It's not user friendly to go back and forth from iPhone to iPad to make sure your Bibles match up. Page swiping could be improved as well; it sometimes takes up to three attempts to get to next page. There is a scrolling feature though if you want your experience more web based than book based. No noticeable issues with scrolling. These are all very straightforward things to correct, and should have been a long time ago.

Sliders?

DJB60 on

I have used this app for about two years and love it. But for some reason the sliders no longer appear when clicking on a book. So if I want to get to Chapter 23 I have to scroll over and over and can't get directly there. I wonder if a fix is needed to keep up with new Apple iOS. Without working sliders, the app is all but worthless - I hope it is fixed soon!
