## iMistAway Description
Mosquitoes are wireless. Shouldn’t your misting system be too?

iMistAway is an optional wireless monitoring and management technology that is complementary to MistAway’s mosquito misting systems. It is only available through Authorized MistAway Dealers and requires connecting an iMist2 gateway to the homeowner’s router.

The app allows MistAway’s customers to see their system’s status or remotely trigger or stop a mist from their smartphone, wherever they are connected to the internet. The app also enables MistAway’s dealers to provide a superior level of service by giving them complete remote visibility into the operations of their customers’ misting systems.

Highlights:
- Trigger, stop, or skip a mist cycle.
- Turn your automated mist cycles On or Off, or switch to Remote Only mode.
- View your automatic misting schedule.
- See important status information about your Mistaway system.

## iMistAway Reviews in United States

### *---- "Inconsistent"
The system has had difficulties connecting to cellular networks. Unfortunately the app doesn’t work if it can’t connect. Not obvious that there is a hardwired solution so can’t use it anymore.
-- Gumberton, 2026-09-06

### ***** "IMist is a game changer"
I’ve been a MistAway dealer for over 20 years, and the iMist app has become an incredibly valuable tool for both our company and our customers. The ability to remotely monitor systems and receive alerts for things like power outages or low insecticide levels helps us stay proactive and provide better service before customers even realize there’s an issue.

The app is easy to use, reliable, and gives homeowners peace of mind knowing their system is being monitored. From a dealer standpoint, it has streamlined service and improved communication tremendously. Technology like this is one of the reasons we continue to believe in the MistAway product line after all these years.

Highly recommend the iMist platform to anyone using a MistAway misting system.

### *---- "App info not accurate"
Just got the system six days ago and feel this app is worthless. App will say it’s misting when it is not. App says the pressure is fine, but I know it is not because had tech come out and he said there is definitely a pressure problem. App tells you what percent is left in your tank, but tech also confirmed that information is not accurate.

### *---- "Lacks basic functions"
No vacation mode. Can’t schedule each day or even the weekend differently. If you maintain your own system, you can’t use it; requires hiring a dealer.
-- ShysterXD, 2024-04-14

### ***-- "Could use more features"
Sure would love a vacation pause feature, and the ability to adjust my mist times without calling or emailing in.
-- Boombadoomdoom, 2023-10-04

### *---- "What terrible customer service and a worse app."
All of a sudden-this year-my log in does not work. Emailed their customer support twice so far and completely ignored. There’s a lot of other companies like this-don't make the same mistake I did. Go with someone else you will be much happier.
-- Bri elevates, 2023-07-18

### **--- "New system installed"
Hurricane Ian took out my system. Had this be one put in with the Wi-Fi remote. Love the concept of having control, but the features are limited and gives me “command not received try again later” 90% of the time. The signal check is “good” at -77db. Would love to be on this development team to make this app what it should be.
-- gregtaisto, 2023-03-12

### *---- "Not Worth the Extra Cost"
Really disappointed by this app. At the most basic level, why can’t you adjust the schedule from the app? All you can do is look at it. And then, for a program that most people would logically want to run at Dawn and dusk, that’s not possible either. That seems like it would be awfully easy to set up. My whole house is automated and there’s nothing I can’t set up to trigger at sunrise and sunset except the very thing that would most benefit from it. Just so much missed opportunity and I feel really bamboozled by how useless this wifi connectivity is. And I see it’s been around since 2015, so there’s really no excuse to have such a weak feature set still. Oh and you want me to pay $50 a year for this, too? Please round up all your little fifties and hire a programmer to make this worth the money.
-- Reviewer11D, 2022-10-27

### *---- "App doesn’t work with new iOS"
It stop working
Now you can’t login
-- pajaroveloz, 2022-07-16

### *---- "Useless"
The app is as useless as the fragile system it connected too.
