iMovie Reviews

Good

and I like it a lot better on

Canada

It good

More customizable features please

Gapilipo on

Canada

Add more customizable features ESPECIALLY for the text. And other stuff too ofc. Anyways this app is pretty basic

Storage management

bigbraintyme on

Canada

Overall good. 2 pet peeves: 1. The data the app takes up storage should clear once a project and associated videos are all deleted. 2. When speeding up a clip, will like options up to 8x at a time, instead of needing 3 separate tasks.

transitions

It’s fantastic app however, the transitions suddenly stopped working despite all settings are good.

Great app !

I use this app to film fun movies with family and to male videos on my YouTube channel . My sister and I also send each other memes from the app back-and-forth. It’s a little thing that connects us five out of five grade guys.

Please fix this

The iMovie app for iPad sucks. I don’t know who thought it was a good idea to only give you the raw basics of edit features. 2x speed adjustment and that’s it? Why can’t I customize the speed as I would on a laptop or desktop. Why can I only have one excruciatingly long edit line and can’t add anything on top like short video clips to compliment the project I’m working on. I can only add media on one green line, unlike on the laptop app, where I can add things Above the media I’m working on, it just audio and that’s it. Why can’t I fade in or out of black IN THE MIDDLE and a project. Why can’t I only do that at the ends. How much data do you think anyone has on their iPad, to just upload and edit and re-edit and repo load just carve out a 2 minute clip to go with some audio. Like why. Please fix this. Not everyone has a laptop or desktop. I literally cannot believe someone thought this was a good idea for the iPad. Do you like endless scrolling into oblivion? Because that’s what you’re gonna be left with.

Songs?

Sarah0824$ on

Can’t use any songs from apple music- i typically use spotify but wanted to make a christmas slideshow for my family with a background song. I thought the easiest way would be using IMovie for the video and apple music for the songs, so I signed up for 1 month of apple music. Unfortunately the only “music” I was able to use in Imovie was basic apple alarm sounds. All other chosen songs from apple music were unable to play and displayed an error code. Wouldn’t waste your time:/

Not good, but not bad editing

They need more sounds

Pretty bad app

rapid radish on

Canada

It says not saved photos every single time I make one and it’s so confusing and not easy to make a video you think that the update is good but really it did nothing😞 but it’s OK when you make it

Why all the bad reviews?

AyrTime2game on

iMovie is an incredible software that I’ve used since I was a little Timmy! It’s great, but maybe add better FX to give it the extra star. Great job on iMovie, and keep up the good work!
