No complaint!
I had this organic sausage that actually looked like it wasn’t gonna be that good just by the texture of how soft it was but after the sausage was sliced into thin slices (though it was a little difficult to cut through the sausage due to the soft texture) and cooked throughly using virgin olive oil the texture became more whole and ‘sausage like!’ Definitely would eat that sausage again!!
I am doing all my weekly shopping here and I love it. I would love to see a reminder list on the app so I can open up the app and add items before my cart day arrives.
It would be helpful to have more product details without having to click on each item. You don’t need so much white space.
The service works well some places and poorly in others. The app is slow, and sometimes when I go away from the main shopping page it’s not possible to get back without force-closing the app. I had positive experiences in the Bay Area with the service aside from a couple of late deliveries. There, the delivery folks always followed instructions and were very helpful. Since I moved to Sacramento, the service has been much worse. The delivery drivers fail to follow instructions about once a month, and I end up on a hunt for my box. Sometimes I find the box, sometimes I don’t. I also have had issues with refrigerated and frozen items not being cold even just an hour post-delivery because they only use one ice pack now no matter how much refrigerated food is in the order. Even non-refrigerated food is suspect now, too—I had 3 lbs. of cherries that arrived with mold on them a few weeks ago along with strawberries that became moldy in less than a single day after delivery. I used to have good experiences working with customer service on the issues, but my most recent experience was very poor, and I’ve canceled my grocery subscription because of it. I do still have a flex subscription I might use for nonperishables someday, but I will never purchase anything requiring refrigeration again because of the misplaced boxes, cooling issues, and failure to follow instructions. I’ve lost too much money from foods gone bad at this point to offset any savings, and it’s not helping the environment at all if I have to throw foods away. The ginger oat cookies are good. I’ll give them that. I would also generally trust the packaged foods. It’s just such a disappointment after previous positive experiences. Oh well, time to try a different food delivery service.
I been wanting to try this app for so long because it aligns with they way I want to live my life now that finally am at a place to try this I can’t even get past the sign in/register process. Been dealing with this for the last couple of days. I reached out to customer support and was told it’d be fixed within 24 hours. Nope still can’t get logged in. Says I have an account already made and then when trying to sign in with supposed account it says no account found. So which is it? Do I have an account or not?
This app sells itself on the idea of preventing food waste, but their underlying business model involves filling your basket and purchasing groceries for you without you giving final authorization. Yes, you can edit your cart or skip a delivery, but if you forget about the app for a week they’ll use your credit card to send you a box of their choosing, which I’m sure leads to massive food waste for many of their customers.
I’ve been actively using this for many years, since the early development on this app and pre-sign up for it, I appreciate what the company is trying to do, its very user friendly and had given a variety of options for produce that is otherwise very good. My only concerns for this is that the pricing can be higher on some products than the usual traditional grocery stores and the only time that I had a inbox inquiry no one ever messaged back. Even so I still give it a high rating due to minimal issues I’ve had and good quality product.
I downloaded the app to check it out and see what it was about and it asked for my credit card information which I assumed was like if if I wanted to buy something off of it, you know it was already in there. They signed me up for a subscription that I did not know aboutand I ended up not liking the produce so I deleted the app and now I’m charged $58 for subscription that I didn’t even sign up for.
