Bad app, bad bikes, expensive
Bring back quick trips like every other city in America, wrf?
been using with the promo code for bike month, and i’ve loved it!! had so much fun i just wish it was always $5 a month instead of $20. w that, the electric bikes have an extra fee ($0.20 per minute) so sometimes it’s more expensive than taking the bus
Got stranded far from home since I couldn’t book a new trip after I docked my bike.
Indego has a monopoly on the bike share in Philadelphia and is a complete and total disaster. Bikes often have mechanical issues ranging from batteries showing they’re charged when they’re not (and refusing to give you a refund) to brakes not functioning. When you report a problem, customer service associates are, rude, condescending, and unfit to interact with humans. They are a complete and total dumpster fire of an organization.
The prices are too high. Electric bikes are totally unreasonably priced
Used to be $2-3 for 30 minute ride when they started 7 years or so ago. Now $15 for 24 hours. That’s the lowest option. It doesn’t make sense when Uber costs the same. I’d rather buy a online bike for $100, store it outside 7 times, and risk it getting stolen. Than pay $15 to rent a crappy bike. I understand they want more bikes for membership ppl, and they make money off subscription model. But I personally would rent a bike for $4-30 minutes.
This app has billed me 3x after I cancelled. I cannot remove the credit card. I have reported for fraud. Awful!
I’ve been riding with Indigo for over a year now and it’s definitely one of the worst bike services compared to Citibike or Divvy. You could pull up to an Indigo stop with 15 bikes and only 2 will be available especially early in the morning or at night. Bikes are locked for “maintenance” without maintenance workers being there. Because of this riding with Indigo is extremely unpredictable and can make you late for work/events if you depend on it. Customer service offers no help either. It’s really disappointing because it would be a great bike service without this issue.
The bikes are great, and very convenient, when they cooperate. However, maintenance is not always up to date (parts rattle, the seats don’t latch properly, etc) and bike checkout and return is often finicky, to say the least. Customer support is pretty easy to get in touch with and super friendly, but I shouldn’t have to call them this often for a bike return that failed to register in the app. And I shouldn’t walk 3 blocks to a non-empty station just to have the app refuse to let me checkout an available bike due to a network error.
