## indyreads™ Description
The indyreads™ app provides New South Wales Public Library members with free access to a large collection of eBook & Audiobook titles. The app lets you read and listen to eBook and Audio titles on your smartphone or tablet, browse the collection, borrow items and place them on hold, download and return titles, as well as make notes, place bookmarks and more. The collection includes Australian independent published content, a selection of quality self-published material, titles in languages other than English as well as reference, modern literary, classic fiction and non-fiction titles.

Locally important digitised material from the local studies collections of participating NSW public libraries is also available. To access and loan titles you will need:

• A valid library card & PIN number (it's quick and easy to join your local NSW public library)

• Internet access

To parents & legal guardians: we do not censor, remove or restrict titles that some customers may find offensive, and we do not label materials to indicate their content or coverage.

I love online libraries and of all the ones I have indyreads has a very good selection of books but delivers the least. I have consistently had problems with actually reading any of the books - for example, I have to delete the app every 3 weeks or so and reinstall  it in able to continue to read a book

### **--- "Screen Blinks on Page Turn."
When I go to a new page, the screen shows the new page, then it refreshes.  Problem occurs in white and black page backgrounds;  and a couple of different books. I think this has come in with the latest app update. Super annoying.

How sad that such a good idea can be so poorly executed. I’ve used the app on and off for a few years and experience bug after bug. Please fix them! The latest unresolvable issue is the app failing to load. Yes I am connected to wifi, yes I have cleared the cache, yes I have turned my phone off and on. It’s not me, it’s you IndyReads!

Takes to long to acknowledge and is so clunky to use…very frustrating when you are half way through a novel!

Offers great content but the app is clunky. I reserved a few books that had long wait times (4-5 months) and I didn’t get notified when the books were available. I lost my reservations. I have set up the reminders function a million times within the app and somehow every time I open the app it just forgets my settings. Can’t be bothered to use it anymore or log into the app every day to check my holds.

Frustrating as app usually doesn’t load and I often have to delete app and log in again. Other library apps work fine. Pity because indyreads is a good source

I live being able to listen to the audiobooks my library can access through this app. However  it locks up or will not open frequently. If I delete and reload it I am told that I have exceeded the number of log in attempts allowed today BEFORE I have attempted to log in. Very frustrating. Surely you can do better than this !!!!!

I have Lightning connection earbuds plugged into my iPhone SE, but when I use the IndyReads app to listen to audiobooks, the remote control functionality is limited. I can control the volume, but I can’t pause or play the audio. The earbuds work perfectly with all other apps. I'm currently running software update 18.1.1.
