Works great on my 14 Pro - with the Lightning to HDMI, mouse and keyboard accessories. I couldn’t get Apple TV to play properly, but I can just use the native iOS TV app for that. It would be nice if iCloud Pages and Numbers worked through this, but I understand the developer probably can’t do anything about that. For what this can do, I think it works very well. If it’s possible to move that dock/task bar up just a tad higher, I constantly click the iPhone’s home bar instead of one of the app icons on there. Other than that, I love this app. As soon as I update to a USB-C iPhone, I’m considering replacing my MacBook with a NexDock and just using my iPhone as my only computer. Most of my work is done through web apps, so I’m very certain this will work out. You can’t change the search engine, I don’t want google. It doesn’t look like it uses the native iPhone apps. Bringing up the documents app is Google docs not pages. The files app has no access to the native files app. So you have to import files you want duplicating things. For this moment it’s a toy, not a real working thing. On my monitor I can see every pixel and a picture can’t be fitted correctly on it (34’’ widescreen). Not readable text. Let me start by saying this is NOT akin to Samsung’s Dex mode or other Android true desktop modes. You CANNOT use other apps on your device like with Stage Manager or a true desktop mode… but now that those misconceptions are out of the way, for what it is, this app is AWESOME! As an avid supporter and user since version 5.0, I’ve been using InfiniteX2P on my iPhone 15 Pro and iPad Air 4th Gen, both of which lack stage manager, and I can confidently say this app just about fills that desire with vast improvements every update! Even with this being written from the perspective of a 6.0 user having JUST started trying version 7.0 which JUST released (literally minutes ago at the time of writing), I have no doubt this powerful application can more than fill your browser-based needs. I can edit Wordpress websites, type up YouTube scripts, access and reorganize files from online service providers, edit photos with online tools like Photopea, remotely access my computers, and just about everything else I want to do! If you need a desktop mode and wish your iPhone or non-Stage-Manager iPad (it can be used on Stage Manager supported devices though, allowing for even better web based multitasking) could make better use of its power, this is the app for you! -- Trey’s Tech Tips, 2024-09-16 ### ***** "Great App!" Can’t say I’ve ever written a review for an app before but this one I felt deserved one. Short and simple, if your looking to turn you iPad into more of a Chromebook experience this app does it. I currently use an iPad mini as my “computer” because I don’t like to carry to much with me with what I do for work. It’s a bit hard to do everything on such a small screen so being able to use this app in connection with an external monitor makes the iPad mini the only device I feel I really need. If you want to have your iPad be your main/only computer you NEED to get this app. -- The guy looking for coins, 2024-07-10 ### ***-- "Great on iPad terrible on iPhone *Update*" Everytime I try to watch a video or YouTube in the app it goes full screen on my iPhone and I could not control my mouse. Not happening on my iPad though. It maybe not the developers fault but hopefully there is a fix. The new update made it worse: Mouse sometimes is unusable, PiP is automatic, I cannot watch 2 YouTube videos at the same time if I want to unlike before. Its still in beta so i hope it gets better and improve. Not all bad though, the iPhone is not hot or even warm when connected to hdmi. So that is a positive and kudos to the developers. -- cyrusken, 2024-07-08 ### ****- "great alternative to stage manager!" i never write reviews for any of the apps i've downloaded so far. but i feel like this is necessary since this app is so great. ipad air 4 or older ipad model users are currently unable to get the stage manager function, which is only available on a few recent ipad models, such as ipad air 5, ipad pro etc.. i didn't want to spend extra money and get a new ipad just for the sake of a functionality so when i tell you this app is a life saver, this is not an understatement. one thing that i like is that this app is free, i don't know how much windows you can open at a time but i usually use five of them and having the possibility to use them at the same time and resizing / customize each window had truely improved my productivity. infinitex2p could have been better if we could open actual apps like youtube, discord, google docs instead of their websites to make it more praticle and improve the user experience. but you do have files that you can downland and open if you wanna read them. which is why i wont complain much about this app i just wish it will stay free for any users like me that can't afford to spend money. i am looking forward to the future of this app ! so far, this is the best that i used so if you were looking for a stage manager alternative, this is your sign to download the app! -- aenma m., 2024-06-04 ### ***** "iPad unlock. If your determined to try it I guess go for the monthly $.99 I doubt you’ll be around for the next month though. You can only use apps with in this app. You can use your preferred apps like safari or chrome. YouTube just dose not work.
