I downloaded this because my VLC had issues playing certain video files, wanted to see if this can play those. Turns out you can’t even play one video for free just to try it out to see if it’s working. Not happy with it at all. This monetisation type is not the way. Thumbs down.

Set up to view locally shared family videos from my windows pc and was able to link infuse to the folder easily, once I’d logged into the share with the local user I could see my videos! I then decided to set up a Network Access Storage (NAS) using a raspberry pi 4 and was also able to access my videos uploaded from my pc to the NAS, inside infuse too! I just had to get the settings right to be able to connect with infuse properly which took a bit of playing around with the settings on my NAS, SMB2 works perfectly
Great app
They added tap and hold for 2x playback weeks after I had requested it, that should be justification enough to get this amazing app. I’ve had it for years!!
They take your subsciption money but won't offer any technical support, despite asking politely and explaining my setup over email. They blame the Apple TV for running out of storage space and corrupting the Infuse Cache, even on a brand new ATV with nothing else installed. So now I am stuck with an unusable streaming setup and locked into a subscription. Don't let it happen to you. Explore alternatives.
I’m sure this works for most folk, but in m y case it only works on my MacBook and will not link to the Infuse app on my AppleTV. I’m glad I only took out one months subscription tp Pro.
Easy to set ep.
Suddenly cannot see any new files added to shares. Sees and plays older files. Other apps work with same files.
