If you're enjoying INKS and want to extend the experience further you can also buy Powerups - slow-mo 'Precision' aim, and the 'Stopper' to prevent you from losing the first precious Gold Ball.

Inspired by artists like Miro, Matisse, Jackson Pollock and Bridget Riley, each table becomes a unique work of art, sculpted by the player as they fire an ink covered ball around the canvas.

The app itself is very fun and addictive.
But the power ups have to be bought. 
As the app itself charges, I don’t think its necessary to add in-app purchases. 

The levels only give 5 energy which is a small amount. This could be improved.

Nice looking game, but so obviously designed to make money. At the start I thought ‘nice, no IAP!’ but then it comes… levels designed specifically to make you buy power-ups. Ugh. And then just ‘button bashing’. Not fun. I remember when developers simply sold good, complete games without trying to siphon money out of you.

I like the idea here, love the art and paintwork. However the flippers occasionally lag on touch and It does get a little frustrating. Lag aside, it is still a very enjoyable

I went to buy Lumino City but for an extra £1 I was able to get this game (and another). A good deal really. But the game just doesn’t work properly. As many other reviews have said, the flippers just don’t react. So frustrating and should have been fixed years ago.

Add to that the fact that despite playing for the game, they devs expect you to pay to get the last chapters and for power-ups, then it becomes insulting. Three years since an update, the game doesn’t work properly and they still have the cheek to charge people and then charge them again for extras.

Very poor form.

This would be a great game, however, occasionally it suffers from lag - I tap to activate the flipper and it doesn’t respond immediately - which is unacceptable on a pinball game. I’m running this on an 8thGen iPad, with very few other apps installed.

Inks is a good game because it is fun due partly to how hard it is , I’d say the only bad part is that it is too addictive so don’t play just before you need to do something important but still a great game.

### **--- "Lovely visuals but ruined by glitches"
Marred by a glitch that occurs on most levels, meaning that half the time the flipper has a huge delay when you tap. I’m on a brand new XS, so it’s definitely an issue with the game.

Real shame because the game mechanics and art are nice. Needs fixing!

I’ve only played this game for 4 days, and I already love it. There’s just one small thing I wish they’d do and that’s make the sector percentage (dawn, melody) 100% of its gold, not if its a gold star. It’s only a small feature but it’s way more satisfying to have a 100% instead of an 91% 😊

Issues with the controls, left hand side lags constantly and no matter where I press it doesn’t seem to rectify the problem. 
This could be a bit more exciting too, I was captured by the design but the levels are unimaginative. 
Would be happy to pay for it if it actually worked, but definitely not worth the £2.99 regardless.

Could be a nice mellow out game. But the sluggish controls (I'm using a brand new XS Max) just makes it infuriating. Difficult to believe the developers not aware if this but they have launched at what is a premium App Store price anyway.

This game is great and terrible in equal measure. I want to love it but it keeps pushing me away. The concept is wonderful, original, so satisfying when paint splatters all over the board.

But... And it is a big but... This is not a pinball game it is actually a skill puzzle game in disguise. The premise: work out how to hit the coloured targets in order to progress. Sadly, what makes the game original is reduce to eye candy.

Pinball games are fast, frantic, frenetic, with noise, light, and colour. I was hoping I'd get that as the game went on, but rather than getting MORE colours to obliterate I got less... And less... And less in harder and harder to reach locations. 

Sadly, I think this game has gone in the wrong direction. If you like puzzles you might like it, but if you like pinball or the idea.of splashing paint everywhere. Stay away.
