I got approved at some point and was emailed about completing my registration. I never did as I didn’t see the email. During a digital declutter, I noticed about 6 months of emails about how many people liked my profile and was curious as I never remembered setting one up. Downloaded the app to see that a profile had been created for me using photos pulled from my Facebook page without my permission! People had been interacting with my profile for 6 months without my knowledge. Talk about dodgy! They obviously needed more profiles to be on the app so used my info to create a profile on my behalf. I feel bad for those who are paying for the app if there are inactive and falsely set up profiles on there. You can’t do anything on the app without paying for it - only view a profile and like. Can’t see who’s liked you or messaged you unless you pay. The app doesn’t even look or feel premium compared to other apps like tinder, bumble or hinge. Completely taking advantage of singles who are genuinely trying to look for love. Response to developer’s comment: I provided my info in the initial sign up stage so basic info was there. But in terms of the profile, I definitely did not set this up. The photos used on my profile included old random Facebook photos, a couple I weren’t even in! Also, I received an email dated 6 months ago saying I had failed to finalise my registration but a week later another automated email confirmed my profile was active and “lit”. I downloaded the app for the first time just recently so wouldn’t have even had a way to set my profile up. I’ve since deleted my account and the app off my phone and will never use it ever again so no I won’t be reaching out to you. My aim here is to warn other users about your questionable conduct. Wrong on so many levels - privacy issues, misrepresenting me, exploiting singles for money. Based on months of experience as both a paid subscriber, free member, and gaining access to features through inviting multiple friends, it seems that the majority of profiles are only there for show... i.e. most are not able to see the key information (likes, messages etc) that could lead to positive results for the user. Of course these features are restricted to drive revenue for the developer. OK sure, but the high pricing leads to only a small number of effective members who can actually communicate, so it’s generally a frustrating experience trying to connect. I had to change my date of birth the night of making my account as I had it different on fb, for security reasons. I emailed the team and Jenny responded to me almost immediately and fixed my problem. That to me says a lot about their service and the team!
