Description

INR Diary assists in following up your anticoagulation programme. Insert the daily dose of your blood thinner medication (Warfarin, Coumadin, Marcoumar, Sintrom, Marevan, Falithrom, ...) for a certain period of time. You can add one dose at a time or multiple doses in bulk, according to a dose scheme. Doses can be expressed as an amount of pills or in milligrams. The app will remind you to take your daily dose at a personally configurable time.

Tap on your daily dose to confirm you've taken the blood thinner medication. The timestamp of confirmation is stored in the app. That way, you'll never forget if and at what time you've taken your medication.

The app can also record the INR measurements of your blood and visualizes the evolution of your INR in time. The app also reminds you when a new INR measurement is planned.
Dose and INR data can be exported or imported for backup purposes, or if you want to discuss this with your medical expert.

Thank you for this app!

Upgrade on my old app

Got this app to replace an old one that is no longer available. A bit fiddly to set up dosage, especially if it varies in week. Once you get the hang of it, it’s easy enough. Lots of great additions for tracking trends which I really like. Biggest gripe at the moment with the app though is no icon badge when it’s time to take my dosage (and it is switched on in settings). This acts as a constant reminder to actually go take my meds. In case I am busy at the dosage time. Seems like an oversight for something so important. So would love that to be added.

Well done!

Thank you to the developer for creating and maintaining a great INR app. I just don’t understand the one review I read complaining that in their view there were better free apps available, well my opinion is that’s just not correct and why are people walking around with £1000+ iPhones unwilling to pay a few £$€ for an app that’s useful to them anyway!? If I’m honest I think the price you charge is very reasonable but I do wonder if it’s sustainable, maybe you should increase your price, £2.99 or even £3.99 doesn’t seem too outrageous to me, but maybe give users a trial period first. Anyway thank you again and please do keep up the good work.

Hello I am new to using warfarin sand find this app gives me more confidence in managing my treatment. I have looked through several apps to help me in managing my treatment and this app is simple to use and provides confidence in doing so well worth the small cost

Been using this for a month now and it’s pretty much perfect. From being able to put in .5 alternate day dosage to date and time appointment reminders. It’s more than worth the small fee. Clear and concise read outs and information. Highly recommend

There’s better free apps

The statistics page is good and easy to view with helpful information. However, adding your weeks medication is fiddly and complicated. I take different dosages on different days and this isn’t easy to navigate how to do it. There’s better free app with easy ways of inputting meds and calculating dosages for you. I’m disappointed with this app.

INR Diary - Pretty Perfect

I had been using a different app as I didn’t know about INR Diary. I tested INR Diary and instantly switched over to using it. What a brilliant, well thought out app! Been on long term Warfarin for a lot of years and this app is so good that I have imported my full history into it. This is now the only app I use. It has every feature you need, can import and export data, track measurements etc and even shows you a graph on how your measurements are doing/trending. You do not need any other app than this (trust me, I’ve tested every one found to date), it does everything and does it extremely well. Credit - and thanks - to the designer.

Brilliant App

Having recently been put on life long warfarin this app is very useful and simple to use. The reminder alerts are especially helpful so you know at a glance what level of warfarin to take on a particular day and reminds you when to take it. There is also the ability to send or print your warfarin regime for your Doctor, Dentist or Hospital which you soon come to realise is a regular requirement once on warfarin.
