## Insect Check Description
With Insect Check, you can quickly and easily determine whether a food contains insects. 
Our app offers you the opportunity to analyse the ingredients of a product and thus check whether and which insects are included. 
We load the product information from the Open Food Facts database with over 3 million products. It constantly gets expanded and contains information on almost every product.

Insect Check is:
100% independent
100% ad-free
100% secure and anonymous

The app is very easy and intuitive to use, so you can also use it directly while shopping. 
Your past scans are also saved so that you can view them again offline. 
This also makes your next shopping easier!

It's as simple as this:

1) Scan the barcode on the food item
2) A page opens directly showing you whether insects were found in the product or not
3) You will see more information about the product, such as all the ingredients and the brand
4) That's it! You can also look at the result again later

We take the protection of your data very seriously, which is why we do not collect or forward any data about you. 
Only your scan history is saved. This is done locally on your device, so no one but you can access this data.
